A mod that makes diseases and other causes of death more historical, so basically more people will die before old age. I've also tweaked fertility to be more realistic. I will launch it publicly eventually.

The interesting history of the Aztecs in the region of Scandinavia continues.
The independent Nahua dukes of Vestlandet married into the Swedish royal family and when the Swedish king died without children, the son of his sister (sister pictured) inherited. Also note the random Estonian name here and there.
Then a couple of years later, I noticed this very eager adventurer.
Finally, also a sight you don't see every day: a Shia Basileus.
The Byzantine empire had been Sunni for generations after a Nomad settled there. One of his decendents even took the decision to go native and adapted Greek culture, though they never controlled much of (de jure) Greece. Way later a random Greek guy took over and in the dying years of the game, the Basileus suddenly adapts Shi'ism.
I've ended this specific game, so I'll post some map views in the "show off your empire" thread.
