After the first Ilkhanate invasion ended inconclusively, I assumed they wouldn't be coming. Then some years after the Golden Horde conquered all of Russia, they come and invade Hungary...
Some like that happend to my campaign as well. Never saw it before. I couldnt find any Ilkhanate lands, forgot all bout them, untill a crusade for Sweden popped up.. Thats all they have: Norway and Sweden. Nasty pagans!

Seems like the Ilkhanate likes it cold:laugh:

Anyway, in my last tPatT-game, after the Timurids established them in the east I killed Timur. His heir was kind of weird:

Yes, he is an excommunicated Shiite. And yes, he is heir to himself. (Don't underestimate the dead!).

After I let the time continue his traits returned to normal, but this was really odd. Timur apparently didn't prepare his death... ;)

Oh God. It is the new CK2 creepypasta story. He is an angry spirit that lives within the game files. He only comes to people that know of his existence... And now we do.

Arpad Byzantine Emperor isn't too terribly strange, but that culture on top of it is... Although isn't there an Arpad prince up in Scotland somewhere?

In Alba you mean? Yes there is but this is not the guy.

This is why you don't want the AI to hire the fleet mercs.

He had to go to Hungary for some war but apparently, the Fat Duke didn't want to walk. So he hired the Venetian fleet, sailed all the way around and then left them there floating along the coast for the rest of the war. Good thing fleets cant invade.

Also, England is a cultural mess!

William successfully invaded but the Normans lost the throne to Basque Navarra just when English started to appear. Navarra later went Occitan and won the crusade for Sicily.
A never ending stream of independence-wars broke out after the crusade which the Danes, Scots and the dutch Republic of Brugge used to eat a few counties.
Eventually the Occitan Jimena's of Navarra lost the "english" throne to the dutch duke of Upper-Lorraine, whose family started as a patrician family in Brugge.

And at some point the Aztecs invaded, and left their culture behind as well, resulting in the occasional random sacrificial victim.

Well, I'm not using any mods, so it is native to vanilla.

Anyway, take a look at this:

Sadly, they'll split when he dies, as the HRE uses primogenitor, while the Golden Horde uses ultimogenitor.
if it was me i would of either destroyed the golden hoard title or bequeath it to my heir before the split, although i'm not sure if crown authority would keep one from being inherited by the other

So a few years back, when abyssinia lived in fear of the Fatamid Sultinate the king decided to plot the assassination of the heir to the seljuk sultanate as a way to throw the Persians into a succession crisis to prevent them from expanding on the Arabian coast... now with the fatamids noting more then a poor wrek thanks too combined efforts of crusaders, byzantine holywars and Abyssinian, The Seljuk seemed to have emerged from their succession crisis...

I don't think I've ever seen the AI destroy a title.

It seems rather counterintuitive to do so anyway, as one would think that destroying the title would free all the vassals under that title.

He has no bishophoric holdings (only castles), so far as I can tell, has never held any such holdings, and he has gavelkind succession instead of investiture (which my other P-AB has), and yet he calls himself a Prince-Archbishop (or at least calls his title that). I have no gameplay altering mods, so that's certainly not it.

The Satrap (Duke/Duchess) of Lesser Poland. I have no idea how the Dunkelds managed to get control of a Polish duchy (well, I know how they got the duchy (I gave her the duchy myself), but not the initial county), but now I have a Persian Dunkeld ruling a Polish duchy.
