And at some point the Aztecs invaded, and left their culture behind as well, resulting in the occasional random sacrificial victim.
Actually they didn't, they liked Norway better and pushed further east after that. They stole Rus from the Mongols and are now cleaning up the last few remaining pagan-states of the baltic and Heretic Poland. And with Scotland Reclaimed by the Crusaders there is no land connection between them anymore so I think "England" is safe.

Here's Magnus II!

Then his friendly Saxon neighbor Magnus I

And they are both excommunicated, and fighting each other over an excommunication war.

Huh. I could've sworn I saw some Nahua culture further south than Scotland...

Edit:

He's taking this rather calmly, don't you think?

I don't think I've ever seen the AI destroy a title.

It seems rather counterintuitive to do so anyway, as one would think that destroying the title would free all the vassals under that title.

if i'm not misstaken the goldenhorde title is only dejure to the first kingdom they invade. i've never actually bothered to check. but reguardless destroying that title gives a relationship debuff but you could easily mitigate that by putting the natives under the direct rule of HRE kings. it's you they hate for destroying the title, not the empire

The question is more along the lines of why those vassals continue to be linked to you or your empire, if the title they served no longer exists.

IIRC, The Hordes will only get de jure titles if they drift.

Nice patrician families right here 0_o

EDIT:
Seriously though, how annoying.. probably because there was only 1 city and I granted 1 county + duchy to the new republic..

That is odd. When I created a republic in england using the same mod, I got 5 different families. One of them werethe Plantagenets :D!
Haha :D
I was using the Prince and the Thane mod, I must've just gotten unlucky though. It's going to be a huge pain in the ass to see though, I might have to knock some of them off and get them replaced with new random gens.

So, what's the greatest number of times you've seen someone get their title revoked and re-granted?
