To his credit he did manage to bring 5000 soldiers to Jerusalem while i was tied up with rebels.

The AI likes getting smashed, sometimes... Remembers me of the count of Kildare declaring war on me because he thought I ( as England, controlling half of Ireland) had enough problems dealing with the crusade to Jerusalem. Well i thought that the Crusades was focusing on the county it self not the kingdom, and when a christian state is controlling the county i thougt ther was no "god reason" to call a crusade" as you can se in the buttom im in a big "holy land" campagin, and Jerusalem had only been in my realm for around 2-3 month when the pope called the crusade.
