His family was fun to play 'cause they all had really bad flaws (his son was depressed and died a couple months into his reign, his grandson got appointed marshal and lost a limb almost immediately, etc). Unfortunately a lost the game before I could go much further--Gotland was invaded and I couldn't defend it even with mercenaries since it is a single-province island and any troops I spawned there would immediately die due to low moral with no place to retreat to.
