Not a screenshot but a fun story - one of my sons, Knut Sigurdson (sp), while playing as Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye, was part of a plot against me at a young age. I had him imprisoned and a few years after that, we held a Great Blot. Well, it comes to the point where they drag him out of prison to put the noose around his neck, and with tears in his eyes, he begged me not to do it - and I caved. I released him. Shortly after that he came to me to go become one of the Varangian Guards. I accept his proposal and promptly forget about him.

Few years later, he returns a Scarred Veteran with a ridiculous Martial rating and becomes one of my great Marshalls and goes on to have a great reign himself.

I thought that was a really neat of story.

Did you exit the game and load again? I've gotten rid of rebel titles that way before.

Wow, I can't believe that worked. Apparently it is as simple as rebooting the game. On behalf of the medieval Tengri overlords, many thanks.

Yes, that's right. 4 separate revolts tearing the HRE apart.
2 are pushing for their own claim
1 for someone else
and 1 for Lowering Crown Authority.
And in the middle all that the Emperor has a war with Genoa AND one of the revolts is having it's own Cathar revolt.

I would be really happy for all of this if not for the fact that I got dragged into 3 of these wars by the previous emperor.

Oh, and as for Mega France? Near as I can tell, Harald won England. Then France went elective and a faction installed William as king of France. At this point he either pushed his claim again or that was still going, not sure. William dies during the war, but his son Richard finishes the job and now sits on the throne of both England and France.

Sadly, England is still elective so unless something changes the title is going to go to an of Hwicce once Richard croaks.

Also, while it might be hard to see, Søreyar made Scotland a tributary.

Soooo. My not-homosexual doge has a (non-homosexual) male lover, who also happens to be his rival.
Perhaps they're rivals because they wanted the same girl but neither got her so they began to pretend the other was a girl to take their grief and stress out on.

I found William the Conqueror... in Estonia. Apparently he was a younger brother of some count around York, and decided to go adventuring. Strangely the surrounding pagans are completely ok with him and his descendants being there.

Holy Rome is very popular with the Vikings.

What happens when Harald Fairhear conquers Sjaelland.

Sometimes an amusingly titanic character emerges, this is my antichrist spymaster.

He's missing Diligent and Cynical traits, and Impaler isn't Master Schemer. I am probably going to inherit him and get him the way of life bonuses too: i.e. Court Tomcat, Maidservant Lover. Nearly optimized.
