So this whole endeavour must have been a resounding success, right? :D

"Sir, the Incas beat us on the field of battle, what do we do?!"

"We try the Habsburg/Greek way, send in the infiltrator! He will open the Inca gates for us while they sleep."

yes that's right some how Genoa is the Ottoman's vassal and they also have Savoy in there.

This happens frequently in my games. When Genoa leaves the HRE, the Ottomans go to war to reclaim their Crimean possessions. They manage to beat their allies, leaving Genoa 1v1. From then on, the war score to make it an eyalet is perfectly feasible.

I've played this game for thousands of hours never seen anything like this happen i've seen them take Naples and Venice but not an entire section like this early game. But it did set up the Ottomans later doom with all the aggressive expansion they picked up had a doomstack coalition fire on them the moment they declared war on the Mamluks

I would be more concerned about Die Geschichte der Drei Reiche (in Österreich), Hungary and Papal conquest swapping, Biglogna, and Shqupëri.

The Knights of Switzerland yearn for independence

Thanks to you, I just understood what happened during my very first game in India, years ago. As soon as I could access the map of Europe, I noticed that the whole of southern France was occupied by the Knights, who on the other hand had lost their bases in Rhodes and did not occupy Malta either. This was probably linked to the Occitan culture of their leader, and a bizarre independence movement had probably succeeded.

I heard that attaching 1k condottieri to a small alliance's main army is good for building army tradition because from battle, it's gain is partly calculated from ratio of total alliance's casualties vs alliance's force limit regardless of country proportion

My brother's EU4 game is one of the most cursed ones I've ever seen. Wallachia is always a battleground between three powers, but Bohemia has joined the mix this time!? Gelre won the Burgundian inheritance and Castile is being consumed, allowing Granada to survive.

Of all of this, Gelre Burgundy is the least cursed since the Duke of Gelre did historically present himself as a claimant to the Burgundian titles during the Succession Crisis brought on by Marie's ascendance.
