What game?

Oh, you know, the one with Euro.

So we have to find spies?

Also, what's with the rysz rule on PM's?

I think I'll go with

Usually I prefer the team to have a mix-up that's evenly spread throughout the leader order, so that if a particular section is heavily spies then it doesn't give them the opportunity to dominate. We have 1st, 4th and 6th in the team, and items are given to 4th, 6th and 9th. Weighting those equally means it's 5 (with a sd of...2? Worked out in my head), which is almost halfway. So it's a pretty decent team by my special criteria.

Actually if a section is heavy on spies then a) odds are you have multiple of them on the team, or none of them on the team, and b) who says the spies aren't the 4th, 6th and 9th player, and thus dominate anyway?
I don't really think this method of choosing people buys us anything.

I liked Aedan's "don't put yourself on the team" method last game, but that game spies didn't know each other. Unfortunately, this time around that ain't true so spies can just put whatever spy they do know on the team and win missions that way. :(

Speaking of "that way"- we do have a little information: if Tonka is a spy, which card would he give to a fellow spy? In the spotlight doesn't really help the spies, so it has to be either KACEOY or Strong Leader.
So if tonka is a spy, either Falc or Euro is a spy, too.

Anyway;

## reject the team

I want Falc on this team, so that he can use his KACEOY on another team member. I won't approve any team that doesn't have at least him on there.

Edit: and preferably, Tonka too - since we have information on Tonka (by means of what cards he distributed) tying him to other people will give us more information ..

You completely missed the point. I'll elaborate on it some other time.

But that narrows down their options somewhat if they do decide to go down that route. And eventually they'll exhaust those possibilites and may expose patterns.

Good thinking. I'll agree with that, partly because it makes me marginally less likely to be a spy :
If I understand the ITS card, it means the person chosen by me has to tell everyone if they're going to sabotage or pass, (not just me) yeah?

Curious. What makes it so necessary for him to be on the team and me to be on it, when we both have similar powers? I mean, his does give the opportunity for a FalcSpy to lie, I suppose and thus more information potentially, but then again, it doesn't necessarily gain us anything if he is indeed a spy, and would be damaging if we don't find that out sooner or later.

Anyway, to clear any possible suspicion of manipulation of my power, I'm going to let the rest of you decide whom to use my ITS card on, and when, too. I don't have an agenda myself and I'm not particularly good at analysis so there's nothing to gain from me choosing as a resistance member.
Also, I don't really have time to do this stuff myself :D

Actually, since there are four KACEOY cards in this game and we'll hopefully see at least 3 of them in play, is there any value in waiting until we have more than one and then using them all at once on several members of a team? Much more risky for a spy to lie about their result (yes, I am aware you can't use the card on the same person).

Not an expert but KACEOY is mostly useful earlier on, then it's too late.

I dunno. I just can't see myself trusting anything the person with it says, and I am one of the least paranoid players in this roster. The best you can do is say there's at least 60% chance that the result is legit and a maximum 40% chance it's not (I say maximum because spies can tell the truth sometime), which doesn't say much. This leads to players often just ignoring the result until if/when there is some other piece of overwhelming evidence that either the holder or the target is one role or the other, in which case it then becomes kind of useful. But that doesn't always happen, in fact it's possibly quite unlikely.

I mean I've played in some games and watched more and I often just see the KACEOY cards having precious little effect, and what effect it does have is negative almost as much as it is positive. I really think we can optimize its potential a little more.

Approve?

I think...

This is about the same as the first lynch in werewolf.

Will assume leader approves his own team unless he states to the contrary before all other players have voted.

Tonka's team proposal of Tonka, Marty, and Euro is REJECTED 5-5

APPROVE:Tonka, marty99, euroo7, aedan, panzer

REJECT:tamius, gliomarto, randakar, ASDEF..whatever, falc

That's 1 rejection out of a possible 5 this round.

Leadership passes to gliomarto. Gliomarto can propose a 3 person team when ready.

Let me know if the tally isn't right, I think it is.
