EDIT: Ninja-ed:ninja:

I approved because the team incorporated the same people who were given cards. While putting Falc on the team may have helped, I didn't see it as reason enough to reject.

Unless there's a No Confidence drawn on round 1, there is nothing wrong with going all the way to the 5th proposal. Remember that the Spies never have enough people to have a mission rejected, so unless a resistance player is stupid enough to reject a 5th proposal, we can't lose the game like that.

I for one would very much prefer to start round 2 one mission down but with information about 5 proposals, rather than starting it one mission down and only knowing one proposal.

Yeah, the 5 rejects thing was a stupid excuse. The real reason is that I think rejections are just boring...

You completely missed the point. I'll elaborate on it some other time.

Please do.

But that narrows down their options somewhat if they do decide to go down that route. And eventually they'll exhaust those possibilites and may expose patterns.

Good point. Fair enough. Let's go for it, then.

If I understand the ITS card, it means the person chosen by me has to tell everyone if they're going to sabotage or pass, (not just me) yeah?

Not exactly. They play their mission card in the open, but that will happen simultaneously with all the other mission cards being resolved. So you can't change your vote or your mission card based on it.

Curious. What makes it so necessary for him to be on the team and me to be on it, when we both have similar powers?

Not quite. KACEOY only gives him the information on what the target does in the mission; In the spotlight tells everyone. When you play that card, you can't lie about the result; When he does, he can.

I mean, his does give the opportunity for a FalcSpy to lie, I suppose and thus more information potentially, but then again, it doesn't necessarily gain us anything if he is indeed a spy, and would be damaging if we don't find that out sooner or later.

If he tells us somebody sabotaged when they didn´t, we´ll know that either one of them sabotaged and therefore has to be a spy.
If he tells us somebody supported when they didn´t, and other cards later on tell us his target was a spy, we know he has to be a spy as well.

This is plot card 101, really.

Anyway, to clear any possible suspicion of manipulation of my power, I'm going to let the rest of you decide whom to use my ITS card on, and when, too. I don't have an agenda myself and I'm not particularly good at analysis so there's nothing to gain from me choosing as a resistance member.
Also, I don't really have time to do this stuff myself :D

You not particularly good at analysis .... riiight.

Randy, I still don't get what difference it makes whether I'm on the team or not.

I mean, sure, I'd love to go on a mission, haven't been on one in a loooong time, but this analysis of yours seems based on some idea that we get told who did what on a mission, when that's totally not the case.

Yes, Randy's unwillingness to approve a team without Falc is strange. Also, I think wanting to get the game moving isn't a very good reason to approve the first team. I will admit it is kind of boring, though. Also, I think rejecting until the 5th round is a bad idea, as whoever happens to be leader that round can force whatever team he wants on us because if we reject it we lose.

I don't know if all votes will be in anyhow, but I will try to have all in order by 6-7:00 GMT on December 8 if they are.

Falc's on it, which is good, but I'm not sure about Randy. He insistence on getting falc on the team is weird, though there are a number of explanations for that. I'm unsure of how good he is to have on a team, but nothing concrete, so...

Accept

I...dunno. Randy wants Falc on the team and as others have said the reason isn't very clear. Both of them are on the team and neither of them even proposed. The third member, who did, gliomarto also isn't someone who's acted particularly innocent in my books. Probably just a vague gut feeling, but still. There's a little too much confluence there for me to automatically ascribe it to coincidence.
I also don't like how much influence Falc's been given. He's been on both teams so far, given arguably the most powerful card in play right now and has at least one player saying he must be on the team, without much concrete reason. Honestly, Falc himself isn't doing anything wrong, I think he's acting less spyish than glio or randy, but if he's a spy, he could easily turn this situation to his great advantage.

Overall...I just think this about the team I'm least likely to accept right now. It's perfectly within the realms of possibility that there's no spies on it, but somehow I just don't think that's likely.
Also, I like having multiple rejections. I just like to occasionally try get a team approved to mix it up.

REJECT

I'd prefer to see another team that has a couple of the following players: tamius23, AsdfeZxcas, Aedan777 and Panzer. Especially as the first three in particular are among the more quiet players I think it's important they get a say in the game early.
Of course, I also want myself in that team, but I'll definitely consider proposals without me.

Reject

Because I'm following marty.

Wow, I've pointed out fault in marty's argument for accepting first team, and already I'm acting spyish. Great.
