I, on the other hand, DO.

REJECT

I see no reason why not.

Accept.

Well most people reject teams that they're not on in the first proposal in hopes of actually getting a team that they *are* on to pass, and also for info but we rarely get anything useful out of that.

Although I personally don't like that format. If we all did that we'd just always end up accepting the fourth proposal instead of always accepting the first and so we'd have delayed the proper start of the game for no real gain other than some rarely used info.

Also, Caesar, it is tradition to put the people that are right after you in the leader order + yourself on your team, so that if the team does pass then when those other people propose their team we have some info on them that can help us decide whether or not to approve it.

But in both cases, I'm happy with the breach of tradition, not only because it benefits me but also because there's some reason to it. As Ironhead said we might want the person with the Talisman to be on the team, so that we know whether we can trust them or not when they announce their result.

(Note: I say "know" but really what I mean is "be able to guess with an ever so slightly increased accuracy")

Besides, picking random people on the first missions is always more fun.

I'm still rejecting, though. Sorry.

If you guys object to my team could i get to know what team you suggest ?
BTW nice thing ruining my plan, wanted ninja contract + mad chemist on the team because if you didnt be so suspicous he could jump the gun,
No chance of that now throught.Because of your paranoia it doesnt matter if i spill my plan or not.

Um... what? Who could jump the gun? Madchemist? You mean he might have sabotaged early or...? Why did you think Madchemist is a spy anyway?

I'm confused :/

I wouldn't say anything is ruined. Someone else might propose the same team i the future. Also, this proposal isn't dead yet -- still folks who haven't voted, so people can still change their vote or send a PM to the GM with a secret "approve" instead of their public "reject."

I'm not a big fan of madchemist being on the team this early. I would rather be on the team myself (as should we all, since we all know our own role), plus Panzer Commader and his Ninja Contract, and I would rather go with the next guy in the leader order for the last spot on the team. As opposed to selecting madchemist out of order.

Accept.

Well the obvious reason is you aren't on the team and you only know your own allegiance, aside from that we can possibly get some info with this team, assuming panzer uses the ninja contract and also assuming he doesn't lie.

I'll Accept

I'm not on it, but I'd rather accept the first team then the fourth team.

Well, even if Panzer lies about his result, it still provides a fair bit of information, especially if he's also on a team. Even if he's a spy, at this point I think it's better to have him than not.

Isn't that a lot of faith on Panzer being on the up and up?

Well panzer is gonna be on the first team no matter what since he has the contract.

In my experience, when Panzer Commader is a Spy, you'll know. He doesn't have much of a poker face.

But as Audren points out, we don't need him to be on the up and up; we need him to provide a response, which we then weigh against whether we think he is a Spy.

Heyyyy.

Also, I think what he means is that I already have the power to influence the game with my ninja contract and giving me the power to also sabotage a team if I'm on it might be concentrating too much power in the hands of a random person. But the thing is, I'm gonna have the contract anyway and that doesn't make me any more likely a spy than anyone else so we're not changing the likeliness of the team failing but we are making it harder for me to mislead you with the contract if I'm a spy. So really, the reason you are doing this is because you are *not* putting trust in me and instead trying to build it.

Also I think I forgot to approve

Reject

It's tempting to Approve due to the new rules on proposal limits, but this seems a bit too popular.

Reject

I'm not on the team, which is a risk I'd rather not take if possible.

Sorry, been out in the hinterlands of North Carolina with no internet access most of the day.

Pleasantly surprised to see I'm on the mission. Not sure that's enough for me to approve, but meh, why not.

Also interesting that people are already calling me untrustworthy. On what basis, pray tell?

Approve

In my mind, Caesar and I are spies and everyone else is good, so I don't trust anybody. Not even myself.
