As someone who doesn't really understand the game very well, what exactly are chain spy rules? They're mentioned once on the OP but I don't think it's explained exactly what they are.

Basically one spy knows another. So there is spies A B C and D. A knows B, B knows C, C knows D, and D knows A

Aedan777 proposes a mission of himself, Hazbot, Ironhide G1, Jacksonian Missionary, and tamius23.
The mission proposal is APPROVED by a 7-3 vote.
Approvals: Audren, aedan777, Jacksonian Missionary, tamius23, Hazbot, Falc, Ironhide G1
Rejections: Haresus, JermanTK, Ironhead 5 (via PM)

Results of Mission 4:

At another signal, 5 of you charge up the stairs. You locate Mr. West's bedroom, and steel yourselves for a confrontation. At a sign from aedan777, the team leader, you kick down the door and fill the room with bullets.

As the smoke clears, you look upon your handiwork, confused. Where could he be? One of you notices an opening in the floor. The leader of the team, aedan777, leaps down the shaft without hesitation and spots a man attempting to run away. He quickly puts a bullet through Mike West's skull. He collapses like a sack of bricks. Just to make sure, aedan walks up to his collapsed body and puts three bullets into the back of his head.

The mission is complete - Mike West is dead, and the mission - for 6 of you, at least - is complete. However, as you quickly leave the scene, four of you slip away into the night. The six remaining members of the KGB can celebrate as a team, without any lurking suspicion, as they find their way back to the safehouse.

There are no sabotages. (And, no, that is not a typo - I was specifically told by the one spy on the team to "pass mission.") The Resistance (KGB) wins, 3-1.

Congratulations to the winners:

Aedan777
Hazbot
Tamius23
Falc
JermanTK
Jacksonian Missionary

So, are you surprised yet? The fact I've been fingering Ironhead all the fuck along?

I guess I chalk this one as my first Resistance Win.

Now that is an image I don't want in my head.

Any way, great job resistance. This was the easiest game of resistance I've played on this forum. We got pretty lucky all things considered with our original missions. We played this game extremely well

I just realized what I said...

But I identified the spy that sabotaged the Second Mission and noone decided to listen...

You were screwed over by Haresus, it wasn't really your fault. But your attitude towards being off the team definitely was a turn off for most people proposing missions.

And you get some props for The Office reference.

I admit, my selfishness probably would've lost me the game, given how I was stuck on Haresus' chain.

Given he was the only one willing to defend me, maybe I was too willing to trust him.

My scan screwed me from the start, but I didn't want to accidentally out a spy to a Resistance member so I had to ask Jerman to open up to me. Giving the card to Ironhide would have been extremely suspicious, or so I felt.

The fact that Ironhide did not sabotage on Mission 3 was not very helpful, and that you managed to remove Ironhead instead of one of the Resistance members was pretty lucky. I was hoping that we still had the Day 2 saboteur in the mission, or that Aedan was a spy. Any of those combined with Ironhide could have turned this around for the spies. Maybe even convince some people to trust me and JermanTK.

Ironhead and Jerman were both acting spyish after the failed mission, so it seemed safest to keep them both off. Ironhead wanting the failed mission 2 team repeated set off alarm bells, and Jerman blindly trusting Haresus for no reason was off putting. And Haresus himself simply fit with too many possible spy teams to let on. Though I never really have serious consideration to Haresus and Ironhead both being spies. Also I think I forgot Audren was playing. Ironhide not sabotaging mission 3 more or less lost it for the spies, though had I remembered Audren was playing or someone suggested him as my establish confidence target I might have put him on and a double sabotage would've been bad for the resistance.

The resistance played decently, but what won the game is the fact that every team had a spy on it, but only once did they choose to sabotage. Some spies often think it's better to build trust, but cards and the double sabotage on mission 4 make playing to build trust very dangerous. As a spy I sabotage every team I'm on barring very exceptional circumstances.

So was that better even though I have been terribly busy?

You didn't even sabotage the mission you were on causing the resistance to win...

Whoops. Oh well. I meant overall. @deathbywombat besides that have I reconciled myself or are you still going to refuse to play with me? If so I will leave resistance which I don't mind.

Also, I passed mission 3 to avoid drawing suspicion, and the realized I was going to lose anyway so I passed mission 4.
