I have to ask, why does everyone want HOI 4 so badly? The last expansion for 3 didn't even come out all that long ago. I'd honestly be rather angry if the announced it since we literally just got a proper, WWII experience with TFH. I'd rather see Rome 2, or better yet a new property, since at the end of the day Paradox probably needs to develop some new IP.

How about a grand strategy game set in the Hunger Games universe.
Also hoping for a colonisation game.
You pick one of the main colonising nations and are sent to control a colony in America. You have to slowly expand your colonial and fight natives and colonial rivals.
DLC's would be to include other parts of the world like Canada, Australia and Africa.
Is it bad that for a minute there I was really hoping to get a dinosaur game?![]()
No, a game focused on colonialism.You mean Europe Universalis light (noob) edition?
A space game?No, a game focused on colonialism.
Founding a colony in EU3 (and presumably 4) consists of getting enough range and then clicking a button. Not that this is a bad thing in itself; a game with such a broad scope cannot focus too much on any one element. A game dedicated to colonialism, however, would be able to explore that in far more detail.
We know that the Old Gods DLC for CK2 takes the starting point of the game back 200 years to about 867. A grand strategy game that went backwards from that point to the emergence of the Roman Republic would be nice (Let's call it Rome 2).
Rome2 -> CK2 -> EU4 -> Vicki2 -> HoI3. 490 BC to 1950.
