does anyone here who modded in female council jobs experience them never triggering any events? seems like a bug, since all my female councils have gone on for 10 years now without any events, might just be bad luck i guess.

Nope, my female steward is sending me quite a bit of extra income from events where she's placed. My female diplomat is manufacturing claims better than my origional male diplomat did with only 2 in his total lifetime.

heh alright? must be bad luck then.

My female steward also generates income, but are you sure you've gotten a successful claim from a female chancellor? mine is skill-20 and no results after 10 years of trying. As if the event can't be triggered.
 
I'm having this problem. The job event files don't seem to contain the word "female" at all. Which file exactly do you mean, or how do I fix it?

I misremembered the trigger. It's actually "only_men = yes" and it's in every one of the job_XXXX files at the start of each event.

I.e.

capable_only = yes
prisoner = no
 
I am working on a mod to make women be eligible for council positions if they have the correct traits, or the aspiration, or if the ruler is also female. It will also include some special events between the ruler and them.
 
I modded the nicknames file so that the chances of a character getting a nickname is higher. I saw that it was somewhat rare in a few long games and that making them more common gives more taste and gives me a quick overview of a characters personality just by their name. It also makes my kings more easy to differentiate and remember.
 
I use the Better Rebels mod and change on line by myself in defines.lua:

The Kingdom of Prussia. Unfortunatly I dont have the proper software but it would be great if the Kingdom of Prussia could be added. With the Duchy of Prussia the Pomerania's and Brandenburgto form it and then with claims on upper and lower Silesia
 
Gimping the Mongols & the Muslims. I hardly ever focus my attention on the non-Christians in these games (unless I'm doing a rare run as Byzantium), and the AI Christians do a horrible job of keeping them in check.

I don't ever want them taking over Germany & France, but I don't know how to weaken them in the game files.
