I've discovered that if you make your mountain ranges too thick, this can generate provinces completely surrounded by impassable mountain terrain. Humorously, my first Random World trapped a nomad there.
That reminded me of the Epic of Ergenekon where a tribe of Turks got trapped in a mountain and later on they escaped via melting down the mountains. Heh, nice one.

Can I have some help on this?

This looks like the perfect thing for me to play around with while I wait for the next HIP update. :)

In case anyone was wondering about their system using this tool.... it took up to 31% of my Ryzen 1700X 3.8 Ghz CPU (8c16/t) and about 380 mb of RAM at the max. It finished a map with Normal Size, Provinces, etc in ~8 minutes (including both stage of mod generation).

Hi, I'm new to the mod. I tried out all the steps and managed to create the map and load the mod. However, my first attempt crashes in the "Load Graphics" stage while my second attempt crashes even earlier in the "Load Databases" stage. I'm not sure where I went wrong and could use some help.

Edit: If it helps, I had one of those "inadequacies" pop up during the map generation that had to option to continue or cancel. Would that have an effect?

When you set it so that there are no de jure kingdoms while using this mod, there's no Pope and Catholicism is broken. Using the default map, there's some sort of fallback to prevent this even though the Papacy de jure kingdom is removed.

I'm guessing we no longer have the big history from 200 and that it's just the map?

Really neat little tool, been messing around with it a bit. I was wondering - is it possible to generate an even smaller sized map than the "small size?" Also, can a square shaped map rather than a rectangular map be generated?

Is it possible to make that size of map and ammount of provinces can be choosed. Would realy be cool to have Elderkings size map with tons of provinces. Right now with biggest map size, most provinces i have got is ~3200 monstly they are under 3000, i realy want to have maps with 7000+ provinces. Is it possible to some easy way to have this system.

@yemmlie101 , any updates for this? It's working well, but interested to see if you have made any work/progress.
