@Darkgamma
Yeah that can be. The climates mapmode for instance is only in because it shows some (probably useless) data for the AGOT mod. Others are leftovers I forgot to remove from the view.txt.

"Buildings" doesn't expand and the colours are funky for Dejure things (Empires, for one)
Edit: and it froze on going from Dejure Kingdoms to Independents

Actually you can edit stuff. First you click on a county. Then you can edit history and province data with the menus that can be opened at the bottom. You have to edit the text, though. But something like changing the religion of an area can be done pretty quickly.

Duchy and Kingdom editing is completely missing as of now. I'll add it in a similar fashion as in game: If you have a county selected you can switch over to a higher title.
Of course it would be nice if all the things can be edited via a menu. Not very easy with the event driven system of the history files, though.

And yes, the colors are at the moment pretty much random. "Buildings" is a relic from EU3 which I forgot to remove from the view.txt. I don't really have an idea what to put in there. Every mod can have a separate set of buildings (I guess Lux Invicta's buildings would break any menu).

I'm getting the scen-ed to run, but it stops at this bottom line:

Thanks for reporting.
I'll check that and upload a new version today in the afternoon (CET).

In the meantime check if you have set maindir and moddir to the right folders and that all other lines are commented out with a '#'.

Yep, everything looks normal.

Umbra Spherae with the version "Umbra Spherae 2013-06-15" loads fine with my current version. I uploaded it so that we are on the same page (01.R4 on the front page).
I have to admit, though, that Umbra's map size isn't something that the editor can handle very well.

NEW VERSION 0.1R4
-------------------------
Small changes:
Duchies/Kingdoms/Empires can be edited by repeatedly clicking on counties (like in the game)
Some work on the still unfinished pane on the left

The tool expects my Documents folder to be somewhere it isn't (E:\Documents rather than E:\Meneth\Documents).
Also, wouldn't it be possible to check the mod folder in the game folder itself as well?

Oh and overwritten vanilla files don't seem to be ignored; it's not ignoring province files I've overwritten, so it thinks there are African provinces in the Low Countries.
Oh and it doesn't seem to be detecting my history files; all my new provinces are blank in the editor.

All very valid remarks.
Thing is, I mostly tested it with total conversion mods. I'll take a look at it an try to fix it up.

Yah, it was the same with the US mod, which is just an expansion of vanilla.

Oh ... I must've overlooked your previous comment. Which US mod is that? Phoenix Fire? It is always easier to fix errors like that if I have the actual mod.

Concerning the documents folder: Until now I didn't read the location of the documents folder from the registry (or from wherever Windows stores that). I'll fix that up after exam season is over. Of course my left side menu needs love as well. Currently the primary holding is misplaced etc.
The overriding mechanic is mostly from EU3 and needs an overhaul badly. Sorry guys.

No apologies necessary mate! You are creating a wonderfully helpful tool, and I'm just happy someone is finally doing it for CK II.

My latest version of the US mod is the one in Camara's recent posts in the mod's thread. He doesn't always update the first page with a new version, so it might be different. :p

I finally get it to work (first attempts weren't successfull for some reason). Great tool^^
