The only parts that need to be translated are the tags beginning with MENU, MESSAGE or MESS.
If you have time sometime it'd be great if you could fix this... :)

Ok, these are my comments to this translation.

  • "Seizure of the positions" this doesn't make sense
  • "Drawing" should this be "sprite"? "Drawing" doesn't make sense.
  • "Traity of Tordesillas" should be "Treaty of Tordesillias"
  • "Nb native warriors" what is "Nb" supposed to mean?
  • "Férocity" should be "Ferocity"
  • "Native effectiveness" might be translated correctly, I just don't know what "Native effectiveness" is supposed to be... :confused:
  • "Native Tolérance" should be "Native Tolerance"
  • "Drawing 1,2,3,4 (X;Y;N°)" again, should "drawing" be "sprite"?
  • "Characteristic ocean" this doesn't make sense either.
  • "Rivières adj (id)" don't know what this means, adjacency across rivers?
  • "Site of the basic drawing (like forest)" again, should "drawing" be "sprite"?

It seems that MENU, MESSAGE, and MESS have been translated with Babelfish, or something similar. As much as I appreciate the work invested by Mezzo in translating, it's not a very good translation since Babelfish usually does a bad job.
It'd be great if someone proficient in both French and English could translate the MENU-, MESSAGE-, and MESS-texts properly.

And again, truly a magnificent job matteli! :)

When you extract a part of the map with inferis tool's, you have a PSD (photoshop) file's with 4 sheets. One of them use color for determinate id and one other is use for the picture you see in the game.
My tools doesn't read PSD files (too harder for me to decode it) so you must save in photoshop the 2 sheets like 2 seperate file in BMP (bitmap). BMP can be read by my tool.

I just need the BMP files and start with step 2...
Could someone make and host (ZIP or RAR) these 2 BMP files for vanilla map (same as AGCEEP AFAIK) ?
