Trading posts not working

Hey,

So i've got the republic DLC. and i can interact with the one trading post i have...but...i can not construct any additional ones anywhere else...I have the money i know i do. But It will not let me. The little box where you would click is unclickable. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here. My Checksum is even correct (XJSG), but I can't build any Trade Posts

Having the same problem, I don't crash, and I can wage wars, assign titles, pretty much everything except interact with trading or trading posts. I even took one in a war (siezed it from another family), and it just dissapeared. The computer controlled factions build posts, and I played with a buddy and HE could build posts, but for me, the thing you click on to build posts is greyed out and non responsive.

Same problem here. I was able to build in trade post I had though by going through the families window, but can't build a new one that way (and I'm not sure income is calculating correctly)

My checksum isn't the same as yours though so I fear that it's corrupt. I guess I'll have to hope it's just version on steam is messed up so I just gotta wait until tomorrow before playing republic (unless I see fix posted here in morning)

Ditto on the Trading Post issue. Checksum is XJSG. Yes I have the DLC. I can upgrade my starting trading post (through the republic tab), but not even the most righteous ultra-secret quadruple clicking will allow me to build a new trading post. I have the cash. The empty holding spot under the trading post tab for the province has the green you-can-build-here border and everything. Help!

Open the main holding of the county in question, keep it open, then try and click the trading post box. It shouldn't flicker as much this way.

Let's see if this is the same bug that we have had more reports on, or if it's a different one - are you running in Win8 (if not, what are you running the game on?) and is there a flickering dialog showing up when you hover over the tradepost field, or is the dialog/tooltip showing up as expected (in that case, what does it say?)? Is there any other odd behaviour you're seeing?

Hi,

I have Win 8 (32 bit), and if I hover over a trade post the tool tip flickers. I can not click the trade post. If I do random things on the map, then sometimes the flicker is gone and I can click the trade post and see the construction window. But then again after closing this window it sometimes start to flicker again and is not clickable and sometimes it works for some minutes. Patch Checksum COMN

I have windows 7, 64 bit I believe, and I get no flickering, the trade post box is grey and blank, no mouseover at all, it's as if I were a feudal lord. I can see trade posts that exist, and those under construction, but places that should be valid construction sites are total blanks. I purchased my key through gamestop and unlocked the game on steam, if that is important.

Windows 7, I get no flickering. It says 'No Trade Post Built' in the bottom and the Trade Post Box is either Grey or Green (Probably indicating if I can build or not), no mouseover, can't click on it. No dialog/tooltip shows up. If I do have a trade post in the region, I can't click on it, if that is also supposed to be doable, but I do get a tooltip hovering over garrison, trade zone info etc.

I got my key through pc game store and activated it on steam. Perhaps Steam is just being annoying again and we have to wait till they get it right. My checksum is correct though :/

Same as Arf here.

Initially I had Gotland as a black shield, but fixed that using known issues method.
Tried both full-screen and windowed (at multiple resolutions) - no effect

I have also this problem. But sometimes it doesn't flicker, most of the time is does. It starts flickering when i hover over the trading post building (new or existent).
I use windows 8 64bit. and i bought The republic on Green Man Gaming, with gamecode for Steam.

On Win 8 64 bit here, Steam version. I'm getting this bug as well, the box flickers with the dialog and if I spam click it long enough I can eventually access it. It's damn annoying, though. It seems like in fullscreen it's a little bit easier to click the right spot, maybe? But the problem occurs in both modes.

Win 7 64 bit, Steam purchsed, having the same problem. I did some more testing and it seems that the square itself if not clickable for anything. Can't upgrade your own trade posts or see upgrades on trading posts that the AI have. Also, while you can click on the shield button to pull up the faction that owns the trading post, the shield button for the family who owns the trading post does not work.

I can not see the green box on the tradepost tab. It is only greyed out.This is the case in all provences. The only time I can see a green tradepost box is when I load up Genoa and click on Providences tradepost tab. Even though it is green, it does not display any information or let me build.

I have checksum XJSG. Win 7, 64-bit I used Steam to download. I have deleted and reinstalled game, and still having the issue. I have all DLC except Sunset Invasion.
