The support for bi-directional lane, is it an expected feature or there's a chance that it will remain unsupported forever?
Yes I remember about it, like I said on one of the Discord channels(C:S Modding?), there are other priorities at the moment, but definitely
Sooner than later
Would it be possible to:
- Add extra nodes between road segment to split road segment so we could disallow car change lane near the express/highway exit.
- Add no parking road sign to the road and remove curb parking
- Change the traffic lights to yield, give way, or no sign
1) Vehicles can change lane at any place they want, they very rarely do it at node because of increased penalty, though it's still possible. What problem you are trying to solve? Adding more nodes won't help at all.
2) sounds like a new road upgrade (kind of outside of
Traffic's scope ATM), similar to vanilla "wide sidewalk" but what instead, if "no parking" and "no sidewalk"?
3) if you meant simply a way to change priorities per segment/lane, that's already in-progress, completed in 80-85%, rough ETA is early next month, though still need more testing, feedback round etc.
You can hit Esc key or simply right-click to close it (sometimes multiple times, depending on the tool state - how many left clicks you've done already, like selected intersection, selected source lane connector)
Hope:
1. Add feathures that can prohibit to change lane when lane was connected.
2. Add dashed and solid line control.
1. could you elaborate a bit what you mean by "prohibit to change lane when lane was connected".
2. what kind of control? Just lane markings or some IRL behavior or something else?
I am working on modifying some train track connections in a tunnel; however, when I attempt to use the traffic tool it will not let me view "underground" items. Is there a planned fix for this, or am I missing a work around?
Thanks!
Storm
Yup, that's not supported (yet). I'll try to quickly implement that feature, I don't remember why it was postponed. Also no idea when the upcoming Economy 2.0 update will be released but new version of the mod has to be released along with it because of minor incompatibility, so I hope to include this feature too.
Is this mod controller friendly? I mainly use controller to play CSII, not very fond of keyboard
I need to play with UI part, I just need to figure out how to handle focus on the controller for toolbox menu and find nice shortcuts for additional features (selection of connection mode) since it's not trivial nor covered by the wiki docs yet AFAIK. It will be added probably along with the next bigger update (priority management + customizable key bindings), probably early next month but I need to fix some small issues, give it for testers so they could try to break it, give some feedback etc
