Im also having the same issue as the other poster. I'm having some trees dying with growth disabled. I'm not sure what's causing it. I have disasters disabled.
I reviewed the code and conducted a test that seems to show that setup working correctly. I can provide instructions for how to verify it working with the scene explorer mod. Is it possible there is some other mechanic that is killing the trees? I just saw a new mod show up related to preventing trees from dying from pollution. I do know that plants and trees have a pollution counter, but haven’t seen it increase or know what it does. Haven’t spent anytime investigating that.

Is there anyway to add a feature which is delete trees in the circles like when placing trees in circles, really need it !!!

That's vanilla. Just hold down right click with tree brush. Unselect the snapping option if you want to remove all trees, plants, and standalone props and not just active selection. Recommend setting strength to 100%.

Please add feature to change age of trees for only specific aged trees.
For example I want to set all dead trees to mature. For now I can only set all trees to specific age.

Yea filters would be a good addition and are on my to-do list. I'm hoping to get to working on an update to this mod after I finish the content I'm working on now.

Hi! few months ago there was a "dead/dried tree" option. But with the last update it disapeared. Can you add it back? It was great to detailing abandoned lots. Also for winter. Thanks!

We will see. That feature became vanilla except they chose not to include dead trees as an option. You can still make dead trees using the Tree Age Changing tool. I want to work on an update to tree controller after I finish the update I'm working on for Anarchy.
 
Would be cool to add an option to adjust the tree collision, mainly to reduce it to be able to create denser forests. I know you can remove collision with Anarchy, but I want to have some collision just so trees don't spawn directly inside of eachother when using the brush tool. It just needs to be reduced.

That could be worth looking into sure.
 
I don't know if I've mentioned this already, but it would be amazing if we could also control the movement of trees to stop it completely!

I have a friend who developed that based on a mod from Thunderstore. He plans to let me incorporate it into this mod.

Amazing mod :) Just a question : When I upgrade/create/destroy a road or a building nearby a location where i've changed the trees ou their sizes, the trees became young again and again (per default). Any idea for me please ? I use anarchy mod but to give you an example : I changed the trees of a park, when I build something next to it, the trees became young and I find the first type of trees... Sorry for my english and thank you for you help :)

Are the trees that you've changed their sizes 'Street Trees' or are they part of a building or something else?
 
Hi. Few days ago, I was able to change/choose the type of trees of a vanilla park or a building for instance. Now, I can't. That is weird. Your tool allows me to change the trees on the map but not for the assets I build anymore ^^ (Parks, most of the buildings etc.). Any idea please ?

i Have the same issue, can't change the whole map trees or the individual buildings....
 
Thank you for the update. It is better now (longer before the game resets the default version of the trees) but some of the trees still reset... Maybe it is caused by anarchy settings ? Maybe we need to find a solution for the defaults trees in a park or a building to be in an "anarchy" version from the start in the vanilla assets ?

Are you expecting the trees to not age? or is there something else causing the ages to "reset"? if you want to disable tree growth globally you need to enable the setting in the options. Remember to check this settings if your game crashes and resets your settings.
 
Hey. Thank you for your feedback ! I hope to change the trees of the Parks or the buildings I build and keep them in place (age and type I choose with your tool). It works for most of the buildings but not all of them (the Parks for instance don t work). EDIT : I think I know why ! In the parks, the trees are deleted because of their sizes... If the tree is too big when I change it, it will disappear or get smaller... Could you please add anarchy by default for the trees in the settings ? For a building or a park ?
