Can you specify which part of the mod that you want to work in the editor that doesn't currently work in the editor?
Im looking to use the custom sets with radius but the map editor UI is different and i dont see tree controller there.

It's not perfect, if the vegetation item is not actively shown in the add object menu it wont get highlighted when you select a set, but it works decently. just need to select a vegetation asset to get started. You can still add or remove additional vegetation prefabs using Ctrl. Edit: @2smallpenguins in case I didn't reply correctly.

Right... I think this mod - i just activated this one when checking mods - causes conflicts with other mods - they all disappear from the game.

That is not a fault of the mod. That is a mod loading issue which is the responsibility of CO/PDX. I recommend going to your active play set, resetting load order, restarting the game, and trying again.
 
It would be interesting to be able to change the trees on the roads!
So you can do it with change tree type tool and radius but it’s not persistent and it will reset as soon as anything touches the road basically. Alternatively you can use Anarchy, but then they don’t adjust to changes you make to the roadway. Maybe one day I can make it so you can adjust the type of street tree per segment, but that’s only a maybe. As I’m fighting the system that’s trying to reset them.

I don’t know how that mod was implemented and I can’t just copy someone else’s work without permission especially wholesale features. Is that mod on PDX Mods yet?

Could be possible to treat Palm Trees as non-decidous or evengreen trees, like pines? I want to use the dead trees model for winter, but once I activate it all palms trees change to the dead stage. Thanks so much!

I will look into it and fix it. I was hoping they would default to evergreen without me changing anything. Apparently they have seasonal colors setup unlike pines and spruce. I don’t know much about how palms behave seasonally. I haven’t done any research for them specifically.
 
I have noticed with this mod that trees I have planted often dissappear. I detail a whole neighbourhood and over time my trees start to dissappear. when I try to replant them, if I replant a tree too close to an existing tree, the existing tree dissappears. Why is this happening?

The game is overriding your vegetation when they get too close together. If you want to prevent this from occurring get my other mod Anarchy and place the trees with Anarchy enabled that you want to remain and not get overridden by something else. Be careful though since when you draw roads through trees placed with Anarchy they don’t get overridden like the vanilla ones.
