Trying To launch the Game crashes to an error: NULL_REFERENCE_EXPEPTION

Steps to reproduce​

I tried to launch without Mods by using the --disableModding Command on steam but I am still crashing when I am launching the game and pressing play

Expected Result​

I thought it was an Modding error because yesterday I installed some for the first time so I used the --disableModding command to hopefully start the game without mods

Actual Result​

The Game still crashes while loading (I cant even get to the main game menu)

I fixed it by renaming the Cities skylines II folder and letting the game create a new one

I fixed it by renaming the Cities skylines II folder and letting the game create a new one

Sounds like one of the mods you installed put local files in your Cities Skylines II directory that were causing the issue. These sorts of local files aren't disabled when using the --disableModding game option.
I would be wary of using mods that do that as you might find it hard to locate and delete any problematic, unsupported assets.
