Guys,

Are we going to have an option to get rid of that HUGE BLUE Tweeter bird on the top the screen. I know it displays notifications but can we hide it when there is no new notification?

Its annoyingly blocking the view.

Cheers

I think the bird should stay where it is and should get bigger and bigger relative to the unhappiness of the residents eventually obstructing the view of the entire city as the mayer gets kicked out.

Also, I noticed the bird is replaced by a dinosaur wearing a hard hat during terraforming. I like that.

My feelings of the bird..

They have answered those things: Tunnels will be later, the zone size will probably a point in the future.

But the bird.. no, the bird has to stay. And to stay this way. I don't know who is responsible for holding this stubbhornly attitude for keeping that bird at this annoying position (it takes the most important part of the screen) but yes, it should at least be optional. A feature that can be implemented within 2 minutes. 6 lines of code..

It has a huge impact on the game. I totally understood Sips frustration... in fact.. I, without even playing.. got frustrated by it. I was thinking: !@!@$ man leave me alone. I'm building, I'm planning... ooh no not again.. Get out of the way! ..

If I want info, I will look it up in a special 'fake' internet browser in-game or something. Just put it under a button, put a counter on top of it, just like on your phone.. and leave the sound on incoming messages. But also: allow people to disable that sound, or filter messages out. PS: Make it a red 'angry-bird' when very important messages are pushed.

For me it seems that this is a decission that is pushed, whether anyone likes it or not (even internally). It's a bad , bad habbit to do such things. Its a funny idea but it takes to much 'prime time' space on the screen.

I'm personally more worried about the 4x4 zone sizes and lack of tunnels... But the bird is annoying as well, and should be optional.
4x4 zone sizes? You mean, as in zoning?

Believe me, they're using the Unity3D engine and with that in mind there are ways to 'hack' that bird away.

That is our last hope after getting slapped by CO's CEO

We got slapped by Larry Probst multiple times before, now by Andrew Wilson so why not by Mariina Hallikainen as well.

Thats what we gamers are for , right? To get slapped left and right.

Bathing in the tears of entitled gamers is what keeps me young. So yes, that's exactly what you're for. Keep it flowing!

Wah wah, I'm getting slapped because a game developer didn't do everything I want them to when designing their game. Of course, I'm still going to buy the game so I'm just whining for the sake of feeling sorry for myself.

One of the disasters could be "The Birds" where the chirper bird detatches from it's position, grows to an (even more) enormous size and attacks your city with an army of seagulls.

Mariina Hallikainen (CEO CO)

+1 that what we want, to make it optional.

It is annoying when you zoom-in to put a road up, drag the pointer and THAT THING pops your screen off when you are about to get it right.

Thats why i say GAMERS get SLAPPED by developers every time, regardless if its EA or CO
