Yes, well, the balance of power is a big boy and will have to look after itself, it seems I won't be there to help it. :(

aaah man the one time I'm here (albeit 2.5 hours late, if KoM's not here im gonna sleep, I worked a 6 hour shift today, and had to do my Emacs/linux assignment last minute and I'm sick possibly broncitis, sleeptime, KoM hopefully ill see you tomorrow mornin.

The problem appears to lie in the wiring of my phone, which means it's somewhere inside the walls of the apartment building. Difficult and expensive to get at. Alas, then, I won't be able to play this week either. :(

I'm not gonna be able to play next week or the week after, because my parents and I are going to Puerto Rico for a week.

See ya after that.

Puerto Rico is a cool game. [/non sequitur]

Had the phone guy in again today, he laid new cable. The old one had been fretted through by something or other, I didn't quite understand the explanation. Anyway, my phone has a dial tone again, so I should be able to play this week, touch wood.

I likely won't make any sessions until January, and will be visiting relatives in Cincinnati, which means suspect connection and next to zero free time. :(

I'll see you fine gents in the new year.

Yay, this will hopefully give me some time to catch up on the AAR when I'm not on vacation! :D

KoM,

I have a question for you. I was curious to see how difficult it is to change the the liege of some of your vassals.

I ask because, after I took the Kingdom of Naples Title, I then created the Kingdon of Tunisia as well. After I had created it, I then gave the Tunisia Kingship to some family members in Bizerte. I had originally intended for all the provinces in Africa that belong to germany, except Alexandria, to then become part of the new kingdom. I goofed though because I did not see that the Duke of benevento was the liege of all of those counts.

If it is too difficuly, then please forget this. If it is possible, please think about it then tell me if it possible you might do it or tell me how to.

It's been a while since I looked in any detail at this, but I seem to remember that liege-vassal relationships are determined by a single line in the vassal's character entry, saying "liege = KWEV" (That's the tag for Kingdom of Whatever, incidentally). So, if my recollection is correct, you would just need to track down all the relevant vassals in the save file and change from "liege = DBEN" (or whatever Benevento's tag is) to "liege = KNAF".
