Ok, it's a bit of a desperate measure; but supposing you go through all the processes listed by the Program Manager, and Google the names to figure out what they do? There might be one that's using a port, or something.

Then, about the firewall - sorry to be a pest about it, but I've found that Windows is sometimes a bit more stubborn than smart. It might have turned the damn thing back on without telling you. Since we are getting a bit desperate here, can I suggest that you follow the procedure I linked to? (Sorry if you already did, it's not easy troubleshooting over the net.)
 
I have to throw in the towel I as I just got a new job and I wont have time to play :(. Not too bad though as my connection probs have got even worse. Just switched to wireless and pc freezes randomly when connected to net. Searched the net, apparently its a common problem and its a fault with my usb adapter. Of course Belkin wont believe me so i ran all their tests and low and behold the only different thing is the adapter :p Too bad it took so long the cover has ran out so they wont replace it . . . Ill have to setup next to the phone line to direct connect so its stable and put the other pc on wireless.

Sorry for the rant Im just annoyed. Keep posting save games and maps so I can at least see the progress :(

I already tried that with the firewall, it's not that. I'll try the first thing later when I have more time.
 
I asked around on some other forums, and got this piece of advice:

I dunno, it sounds like it might be worth a try. I must admit I'm not sure how you would check the settings, though.

It's more like 35, but yeah, it's getting close.

I'm in a tearing hurry, so I'm going to do the edits this way : I'll calculate what each player should get, edit the sum of everybody's bonuses to myself, and disburse the money ingame. This is a bit faster than finding everybody in the savefile; I just have to find myself. I'll pass out the save when we meet, gotta rush now.

By any chance does anyone still have the history.txt file for the latest save? I want to write my AAR but I forgot even the rough dates of when things happened. It would be much appreciated.
 
Hi guys,

Since I live in Hurricane alley here in Florida, I just want to say that if you dont hear from me in the next couple of days then something bad has happened. It doesnt appear that Ernesto will be a problem but you never know with these things.

Ck : Now also with weather realism! I'm sure we all know how often a bad storm changed the course of a campaign. ;) Anyway, good luck cc. :)
 
Yeah, I would love to join, but I cannot seem to find a solution to my problem.

I've given up for all intents and purposes, unless someone comes up with any more ideas.
