Well, I tried using Netstat...didn't really understand it, but nothing seemed particularly odd. I just have no idea what the problem is.

sorry to hear that. Wish I knew more to figure out what exactly is blocking you :(

Well, I am kind of happy about my session last night. Got to do a little cheap expansion. I am happy about how stable it was last night even in wilcox connection could not go over slow. All in all, a success.

By the way KoM, are you going to start an AAR thread??

Sorry about the connection, it usually happens with my dad playing WoW but overall I'm happy with the session too. Some expansion and a lot of buildup. I was also wondering about the AAR thread. Anyway, can't wait for next week.

i'm kind of iffy. I had some bonehead mistakes, and some bad luck, but I got the Silesia's, and Poland is 1/4 smaller now because of me, so overall, an intresting time.

Any chance of a map picture?

Only if you promise to join the game! :p

But seriously, there's not much changed in five years. German conquest of Mecklemburg is about it, really.

As for AARs, I confess to being a bit burnt out, what with having followed the Ynglings for 700 years; but I'll start one and you lot can post as you like. :)

I may end up in the EU3 beta, though, and that'd likely eat up any free time I might have...

*nods* One map around 1100 and then one every 50 years?

Yeah, fair enough. That should see the first map in about three sessions, if we're lucky... Anyway, AAR thread is up in the CK AAR forum. :)

I called my cable company, they still don't know what the problem is, and neither do I. I'm extremely frustrated, and I really don't know what to do at this point.

I should think that would be the first thing he checked. But look you, we know what the problem is, right? To wit, your ports are blocked. What we don't know is where this blocking is coming from. But there must be a utility somewhere on the net that lets you control your ports, right?

I hope I'm not saying really stupid and obvious things here, but did you check that your Windows Firewall is not doing this? Apparently, it will sometimes block ports without so much as telling you about it, the arrogant little bitch. (Please accept my apologies if I tell you things you've already checked two weeks ago. I know you said you don't have a firewall, but this being Windows, it's possible in principle for you not to be aware of it.) There's a page here that tells you how to fix this.

Nope, I have no security suites like Norton or McAfee, and I've turned off Windows firewall.

I wish it were that easy...

Guys,

I put a utility up next to where the save file is. I had originally picked this up when CK first came out. It is an excel sheet that will tell you the percentages of each segment of your army based on your law you chosen as well as the power distribution among the four classes of your province.

It will be the last message.

My AAR's up, worked on it for about an hour and a half but I like the way it turned out. This is going to be a big help for me with essay writing this coming school year.
