unable to load saved games

I am unable to load saved games (autosave and saved games). When I click on the saved game or on autosave the START button does not become highlighted. I am able start play on the 3 campaigns (Hastings, 3rd Crusade, 100 years war). When I click one of these campaigns the START button becomes highlighted and I am able to begin play. For some reason the saved games are not able to load. I have reinstalled 4 times, added patch 1.03 and defragged the PC.
Any suggestions....... :

after you select the save, you have to select your "country" again.
every time you want to reload a game.

I assume that is indeed the problem, if that does not sort you out then post back here.

Thanks, that was the issue. Loading the saved games is different than on Europa Universalis, that is annoying. Oh well.......... :wacko:
