The very first Mech that I've colored more than two years ago. The Mech/the colors/the camouflage that it all started with. https://t.co/xxmNEkMe2U#UCC #battletech
Great work mate! I'll include any repaint that you produce (if you want me to). Just forward any finished artwork to me via email. It might take some time until I reach a certain unit but over time ...
Also, I was thinking about those color Star League logos and how cool it would be to get the respective units (mech repaints) to demonstrate them on. Small mission - I know![]()
On the new site you can see what there is left to do on each unit page at the very bottom "To Do". There is no rush and whatever you want to work on and submit is fine. I only mentioned the SLDF because I think you're more interested in them. But feel free to create any artwork you want. Bit by bit the UCC becomes more complete. I am really happy to see how far you've come with PS!that's great. I will continue to submit repaints for the UCC. If you need send me some suggestions. if there are still missing units or no colour schemes, I'd be happy to continue this work, now that I can create my own templates. With the SLDF, I can work on that slowly over time. It will give me time to re-do those logos, lost to that hard drive crash. I have the colours that were included in the UCC. It'll give me a chance to up my skill set a bit more. I might start with the SLDF 1st Army.
Your suggestion is sound. I probably will do it along the way. Although, I must admit it won't be a priority thing as people can easily use the search option to filter out factions. I might even leave away the "library" to not instill frustration or confusion, not sure. What do you think?I know you've barely begun to upload everything, but I do have one suggestion if that's ok.
I assume the library tab is to allow people to browse through the various colour schemes. It might make it easier for people if it then gave you the choice of faction, like the headings in the .pdf. So you click library, it brings up a page with each of the factions and you could pick the Fed Suns, for example, and browse through all of their units.
I hope that makes sense.
It sounds good, all dependent on the tagging of course. A similar problem here with cataloguing museum collections, as long as there isn't a tag for every nationality mentioned in the text it should work fine. When you have more up we can test it better. What do you think?
I'm sure you'll regret saying that soonBut glad about every feedback, idea, suggestion you have at any point! Thank you!![]()
We were as thorough as possible in collection the paint schemes. Trust me - that is a difficult process as there are a lot of contradictions and there was heaps of crosschecking going on. Still there'll be errors I guess. I try to eradicate them along the way of uploading units to the UCC Data base.It sounds good, all dependent on the tagging of course. More Taurian and Protectorate mechs pleaseActually on a slightly more serious (but no less "selfish") note; I'm not sure how you guys got some of those colour schemes canonised but I can think of at least one Taurian regiment not in the .pdf that hasn't had a colour scheme mentioned in the source books yet (that I am aware of any way). Would there be scope further down the road to highlight "missing" units?
Me too, mate, me too ...This is really impressive work.
I wish CGL aspired to be this good.
The name is not unfamiliar and looking at sarna I can't remember why I left them out but I'll bring them back on the list for now.My mistake, I assumed the captions for some units, like the Confederation Reserve Cavalry, that said "canonised by X" meant it was done after they were drawn for this project. I'm guessing, now I've actually paid attention to the date it was done way before this.
The missing unit that came to mind was the Concordat Cuirassiers, but they don't have an official colour scheme as far as I can recall.
