Great stuff!! :rofl:
I especially love unit icons and metallic shield frames.

By the way, it seems to be better for me to re-position some unit icons like below.

and if possible, I'd like to see new "papal_controller.bmp".
Thanks. :)

Splendid work BeBro! :)
Using your GFX as we speak, love the new shield frames... :cool:

Think we need to skip that woodenstyled shield and make something like this instead.

Gratianus, good idea - I'll post a little update with re-positioned unit icons soon. I'll also include some other gfx ....

Birger, I'm curious about the shades of red in those shields you posted. Can we use such shades so that the CoAs in game appear shaded too (not only the frames)? Because the original gfx are just plain red....

Edit: and just some other questions:

- Does somebody know if the file "quarter.bmp" (in the CoA folder) is used at all in the game?

- I have several files called "copy of...." in my "interface" folder, which seem to be unused, can I simply delete them? I'm pretty sure they are from the installation....

- In the "palette" folder of the game seem to be lots of unused gfx as well, for example anims for ironclads or clippers, are they left over from another Paradox game?

That red was just an example showing how the shading would look together with your new shield frames. :)
This is the original shield/wood from CK:

I was thinking of redoing all of the latin/orthodox shields with a new template/shading, (tons of work... :wacko: )

Looking something like this...

Ah...yeah I had the same idea, but for now I'm doing other things ;)

No, I think it is there so that we can make pretty CK avatars, like this one, which I think I will use when I reach 3000 posts. :D

Without the white bits around the edges of cource.

No prob, suggestions are always welcome :) Will post them with the other stuff, just not today, since I have some other (real life) things to care about first. But I think during the next days.....

I'm looking forward to the next publish.
I became a big fan of you. :eek:o :rofl:

It is not.

There should be no problem with deleting them, but I would move them and test before I deleted anything just to make sure...

Looks like something from Victoria...

Like the others said it's not used, Johan told me however that he can easily "activate" it. It will genereate 1 coat of arms out of 4 (familiar, country, etc...)
But then we'd have to do tousands of new shields... :eek:

Edit:
A small request, could I have a plain copy of the kingdom shield without the royal regalia. :)

Well great stuff and it looks good in the game.

The only little problem I have is that it ain't so easy to spot if it is a Duke or Count CoA.

You could have the frames looking something like this:

Posted an update in the upload forum, please see for detail there.

Birger: I'll provide you the shield ASAP,

Veldmaarschalk: yeah, you're right about counts and dukes - however, I did not update them so far - maybe later.

ambrox62: Unfortunately there is not enough room to place the crown on top (it would cover then too much of the character's head), and I don't think it's possible too resize the gfx to have more room there

Question - is it possible to make additional gfx, for example for events? I mean let's say you get free templars or hospitalers, you'll always see the same pic for both - can you create and use different pics for these events?

You can make new gfx for events.

If you check an event you will see e.g.
Code:
character_event = {
	id = 7400

	[b]picture = "event_intrigue"[/b]

	(...)
This refers to a file named event_intrigue.bmp.

Take your time, there's no rush. :)
