There is a serious problem with the population of Norway and its possible rebellions during the emergence of Sweden. On about a third or so of my games I had virtually the entire part of Finland completely depopulated only to see them colonized less than a century later by the Venetians of all people.

So my suggestion is to increase the population in Norway's provinces to 1000 each (Yes, I know they were sparsely populated, but even without the event itself, there may be a plague random event which could ultimately do the job and wipe out the Swedes and Finns from the face of the earth:) ).

Also, please make it possible for trading posts to be built at trade level 2 again. On several trials when I played until 1600 the AI colonization was almost non-existent because of the high-requirement.

Oh, and the events regarding the Prussian road of the Teutonic Order need to be amended, as they receive simply insane boosts in gold and relations (the latter is more serious, seeing that the Order was a guaranteed HRE in all my games until the early 1400's at least, when the last Prussian Road event fires).

Code:
ERROR: (Date: Unexepected field) ' DIP = 5 ' Line = 488 file = db\monarchs\monarchs_ALQ.txt

yep, I had that one also last night ;) Missing a "}" between end date and monarch's values

I am close to a release of 2.03 and just now noticed that the bug with tech was the lack of this line:

absolutestartyear = 1337

in every scenario except the 1337. This meant the game would think the scenarios start date was the absolute and calculated the tech years from 1419. Thus the normal level 4 trading in 1475(1337+138) would become 1557(1419+138) with a start in 1419 ! :D

I decided to start a Fantasia game (as Germany). What a mess. Lots of errors to start with. Most of them about unknown religions and unknown cultures. Then a bunch of (AI-) events that didn't make sense.
One of the countries has tag = ---.
Also I was not able to colonize before level 2 infrastructure, which makes sense, except for a Fantasia game.

Of course Fantasia should not be your priority at all. But now you know.

Looking forward to 2.03. Keep up the good work!

Ah thank you , once it's changed in scenario file and last saved, it just works fine!! :D
I discovered tonight I have some problem with money. Even my country (Portugal in 1419 scenario) is level 4 trade tech, it receives only 2% of his share instead of 40% which should be normal level. As an example, I have five merchants in Lisboa CoT, but I only get 0.8 ducats a year. Also, it is said I should have a yearly income of 137 ducats, but on January 1st, I only get 22 ducats.

Two last leaders for Küstrin miss a line which I suppose is category = monarch

Playing WATKABOI 2.02b, I reliably get a CTD in the following situation:

I have some income from gold mines, and I hover over the label for the 'Treasury' slider in the Budget screen long enough for the extended tooltip to show up.

Edit: I think I've narrowed the problem down to the relevant line in 'misc.csv' - remove that and the CTD doesn't happen.

why shouldnt one do that?

The -3% TE should be argument enough. ;)

Yes I have that fixed. :)

Um, it hurts trade efficiency.

Yep, I was absolutely not aware of that. As a consequence, playing Portugal and being a quite peaceful nation, it seemed to me quite natural to use some diplomats for trade agreements, assure my merchants'placement and gain some VP. Then, it's when I ran out of money that I began to think that something turned wrong. I cancelled all TA and I now get about 14 ducats from my Lisboa COT. But I still don't get almost any profit, my budget is balanced each year and I have no means to invest in colonization.

Could you please tell us what to change in misc.csv to fix it, it seems quite simple ? That way we don't need to wait for an update of the mod.
