Weird.
You weren't able to change the e-mail to a new one, before the logout?
it was years ago, and technically I guess they gave notice, it slipped me by among all the spam, but yeah. My university email account shut down completely and abruptly, like 1 year after graduation, with absolutely no way to recover files, text, (which is also slightly unusual, many of them are lifelong), and I had spent over 6 years using that account for most things.

Yikes.
Sorry to hear.
That was why I didn't use my uni e-mail for anything not uni related, as I was really worried something like that would happen once I graduated. Think it was shut down, but don't know for certain, as I never looked.

Anyway, what I meant was, couldn't you change the e-mail inside Discord before teh logout?
Also, really curious you were forcibly logged out. As in, really really relaly curious. I've not had that happen to me ever. So does make me wonder if you were hacked.

No. And yeah I have no idea. Hopefully I'm not hacked. Actually one idea that's just come to me - I recently ran out of storage space on my pc. It's fixed now, but maybe it caused discord, which is always on in the background by default, to try and update something, and it wasn't able to. Idk that's my only idea.

Anyway, we are thinking of maybe doing a Blood on the Clocktower style game. I.e. you can still influence the game after you die. This has always been a red line for us at Paradox, but given our dwindling playerbase, it is probably necessary in order to maintain engaging games.

Curious that you couldn't change the email.

Huh, German internet was far less painless to get set up than I thought it would be. Did Werewolf survive though? Is there a hunger for us yet to eat our friends? Or at least guess words with them?

I'd be up for a game.
As for WW then it's how it's been rhe past years. Very on and off. There's some games and then it's a while until the next ones.

Werewolf has always been dead. Yes, even before 2008.

Is the body in good enough condition that I can dig it back up and do some necromancy on it?

Sorry, caught a flu that put me on my butt. I'll have a game of some kind up by tomorrow.
I look forward to another Stalingrad!

For the record then we have a game starting over in OT atm.
In case anybody is interested.
This thread, in fact. ;)

With many former players returning, new players joining, and a total of 33 players atm!

I know y’all are busy with that ^ game, but I want to ask this before I forget, with the thought that we can discuss it after that game ends.

Would it be helpful for me to sign up for WW games with the explicit understanding that I’d be subbed out when there’s someone to take my place? We’ve had trouble getting enough players (though I sure hope that changes!), and this would allow us to have one more spot than otherwise. I believe getting hunted the first night is discouraging; having a new spot to jump to (if the original and new roles allow) might be helpful. It might be open to abuse, though; I dunno.

Throwing the idea out there in case any GMs decide they want to take me up on this offer in the future. :)

That could be helpful, yes.

Also, most games aren't even remotely as intense as the current big, so might be you're able to play some of htem. This big really is an odd one out.

Goodbye all. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
