I'm surprised it worked at all, since I had to rely on a wolf to voteswitch.

... that's... basically the point... that Athalcor should have just let Hebelecan get lynched and hunted you. Esemesas would have copped it the next day for running up the seer. Athalcor didn't switch because of the JL outing per se, but because Hebelecan PMd him to say he was the seer. Athalcor thought he'd be ultra tricky and save the seer to give himself a bulletproof alibi, especially as he thought the village wouldn't listen to a "seer" who just lynched a goodie, and whose claims are predicated on a wolf saving him. We all know how that worked out for Athalcor.

Not all plans are perfect.

My plan wasn't good at all. It involved trying to save the seer at any cost. It really should have failed brutally, but thanks to Ath it didn't. :D

Yes, I overthought that.

Yes, I have not much time to play the game.

But, two another things that I had in mind:
1. I thought that the seer would not just say to someone 'Hello, I am the Seer', so I thought that there was a person in the background who guided Hebel to become a lamb to be sacrificed. So I chose Najs.

2. Hebel said in the thread: 'Should I die this voting day/hunting night, lynch Athalcor.
So AFAIK, hunting/letting Hebel been lynched would be a death sentence to me. The events would just be reversed. So I tried to play a gamble.

I don't see where Hebelecan said to lynch you Ath if you didn't save him? I still think the village would have nailed Enk for lynching the seer.
