this must be the biggest fuck up by a wolf ever.

I bring the win to the wolfs a day before with a plan, give them the seer....and forget to vote and than oversleep

esemesas and i were quite unlucky in our choice of mouthpiece.

I should have scanned Snoop as soon as esemesas died, but my inexperience made me focus on Randy and his strong defense of Mr G whom i still felt not to be cleared at that point.

The same day, i also lost a JL member to a lynch. I tried so hard to keep my cover, that i failed to save him. On hindsight, i guess i should have done something more at that point.

Panicked, i made a gamble, and contacted the_hdk. I was sure the wolves were Kingepyon and king hannibal, with a strong suspicion on either Randy or snoopdogg (he was my last scan order). He turned out being a wolf. I was tired and a bit frustrated on how things turned out for my first time as seer... so i mostly gave up.


I'm sorry, you deserved better than an unlucky seer who made some bad calls, especially in the end. o


And for his deceit and lack of vote, the_hdk should indeed not get the win

I still don't get the switch on to hannibal, though. Rendap, in my mind, was a good bet.

We would have gotten snoop. Gigau told me as much in a PM. Snoopdogg was unscanned, and gigau told me he trusted somebody who then later admitted that he was a wolf. 1+1 = 2. Really.

So if not for this last second switch we'd have gotten Rendap, and had a very good shot at the other two wolves.
Ah well. The last day is the last day for a reason: That's the point where the game starts to fall apart for the wolves, usually, and they have to hang on by nail and tooth to win. I wouldn't have it any other way.

If it's any consolation Gigau, we did not suspect you were the seer before you contacted hdk...

So you were at least partly agreeing on that.

And for those who thought that I should not have played, I don't agree since I did vote every day. It was not optimal I agree and I will consider not to play in the future if similar things happens.

Well, you broke the first rule of Seerdom: Don't trust anyone that you don't absolutely have to trust. Always work through middlemen if you have to involve unscanned players. And if your middlemen die, go after the people they contacted.
Live and learn, though. Don't feel too bad about it - we all have our own personal failures, this won't be the last.

I'm sorry. I probably made a couple of wrong calls, and got really unlucky with the hunts of my JL members.

Look, I don't know why you decided to just out yourself in the thread, but you're not doing the village any favours here. Yes, getting the info out there is good. But until you outed yourself there still was a good chance the wolves would hunt someone that was still a suspect and your JL might have grown. Now, though, your death is all but assured. If not today, then tomorrow. Mr. G wasn't going to get lynched, and if you hadn't noticed, people were not exactly going after you very much. Except for people that aren't paying attention at all, like mr. Hannibal.

You can still edit it away but there's a good chance it's already been seen by them.
I can only hope our wolfies are asleep or something. Please at least try to edit it away, at worst it will give us some idea who they are based on who is online now and who isn't.

My friend, for me, it's all over : the main bad cal i made was to contact someone i had more or less cleared, and turned out to be a wolf. After a few PM, he ended up telling me the truth. That's why i ended up putting it in a post : the wolves already know that fact.

I was too tired when i got the news last night, and truthfully a bit despaired by how things turned out to make the post...

Had i not sent that damned message, possibly, we could have had a chance. Unfortunately, i was frustrated by the loss of my JL... added to the fact that my lack of experience made me misread your defense of Mr G and made me focus even more my attention on you and Mr G... discarding everyone else from my sight.

I guess you deserved a better seer.

It's mostly my fault. As i said in my post, i was exhausted, frustrated from a mishap at work, and this whole mess in the game, not knowing who to trust (except Mr G i just scanned)... i admit i yielded. Got information i couldn't share because i'm stupidly honest. So i didn't change my vote despite what i knew, and i couldn't sway votes.

On hindsight, i should have picked up on the_hdk's first reply advising me caution in contacting an unscanned player. Had i been smarter (or at least less tired), i would have put an end to it.

Note that the last message about snoop was after the deadline. king hannibal was lynched, i was hunted, game was over.

Before that, all i did say is that i contacted a wolf. But i couldn't tell you what i knew.

Well, good game. I was really unlucky with who I contacted. Had I contacted randy as per my initial plan, this would have ended differently.

Also I switched to Hannibal because I thought randy was a wolf (due to his lynching of thandros) and I wanted to make sure that we were out of snipe range. If gig would have switched to rendap and randy didn't help lynch thandros I would have been happy to stick on him with just us 3. Hannibal was my last choice of wolf out of the 4, but I couldn't find another "safe"lynch for the last day.

@gigau why did you think I was a wolf? By the last day it should have at least been evident that I was wiling to lynch pretty much any of my potential pack mates on your say the last day.

Let's say that it was probably my worst mistake in this game... playing "honourably"...

In the conversation last night, after the fact i didn't pick up on his tell in the first message, when the_hdk told me he was a wolf..., i should have cut off the conversation, so to speak, and reported here. Especially, as it became apparent to me that we... or at least... i had it all wrong. At that point, i realised that i knew who the wolves were.

Being already designated target for the hunt, i should have told what i thought to be the truth. But i had had a 13 hour long day, my JL had been wiped out the day before, so i did the stupidest thing ever, i continued the conversation and got confirmation on who the logical wolves were.

From that point on, i was stuck. So i held on to my vote and kept my mouth shut.


13th game, and i still feel such a rookie o
