Hmmmm. Walrus' exucses for not making "analysied" votes are indeed wearing thin
Vote walrus

Ironhead dear, really this is getting too much. Before your sabbatical, you were doing this to me ad nauseam. Now, post the PM (which you cannot, since I do not have secret allegiances) or GTFO.

This is the usual Ironhead analysis technique of picking on people, and seeing who votes for whom. It doesnt work, and never has but he is persistent.

The thing that surprises me is how people still fall for Ironhead's copremisis.

let's see...

throwaway vote on a random person
follow a possible lead (but where DOES it lead?)
Or not vote for the moment, and likely not at all (RL, Friday.. you do the math)

Vote jonti-h

It's the best lead we got at the moment.

I beg to differ

It is true that Ironhead has used bluff outings before. I wouldn't say it didn't work because it stirred the pot and people started acting in different ways that could be looked at. The problem with a bluff outing is that it tends to kill the one doing the bluff even if he revoked the outing way ahead of deadline and I know that happened to Ironhead at least once (I think it was twice)

The thing that surprises me is how people still fall for Ironhead's copremisis.
It's not like we have a lot of other options. The walrus thingey I think is the best other lead but even if it is not exactly random, it's pretty darn close.

No offense but I think I'll hold my vote on you at least until I hear Ironhead's reaction to your post.

Apprentice comes to mind. An apprentice has an allegance to his master seer/priest/sorceror, and can be a goodie if it's one of the first two.
An apprentice has no allegiance to his master -- if he even has one. The spy report was from Night 1, so long before jonti-h could have gotten a master (if he were an apprentice). But still -- an apprentice actually has an interest in seeing his master killed, so he can take over the skills of the master.
Villagers have no allegance because while they win with goodies, they don't know what anyone else is. So there's 0% loyalty to anybody else playing the game.
Semantics -- either way, jonti-h's secret allegiance means he is not a villager.
Scanners, and anybody who has a way to find out through the GM what somebody elses role is may have (a) secret allegiance(s). That's the clue. It doesn't say that they DO have allegiances, it says they might have one depending how the game plays. That could EASILY fit the seer or priest or their apprentices as much as it could fit a baddie.
No. Goodie scanners are loyal to the village. They don't have a secret goal that says something like "you win if x happens" or "you win if y is still alive at the end." Their only goal is the same as the villagers.

Only baddies have different victory conditions and thus a secret allegiance to a different schema.

Every time I vote for you, you pull this routine. I don't even vote for you that much! If I want to do a random vote, I always exclude you from the pool of eligible candidates because I know you will whine like a little girl. This routine is unhelpful and boring -- just answer the accusation instead of an ad hominem attack, please!

And btw, I did post the entirety of the PM in the post where I voted you. That's all I have, and it is not much. But compared to the nothing we have for anyone else, I would say it makes you the best candidate for a lynch. Or should we not lynch you, despite the preponderance of evidence, just so we can be blessed with your wittiness and charm for a few more days?

Semantics are important for this very reason. You interpret allegiance to mean "different victory condition/goal" while I interpret it to mean "mutual knowledge that we're on the same side". You're thinking about the nationalist type of allegiance to an overall goal while I'm thinking of a more personal friendship/ally/comrade type of allegiance. Given the fact that the hint suggested possible MULTIPLE allegiances the only roll that I see perfectly fitting your view is the apprentice, while my view fits for all baddies and the scanners.

Well, Ironhead 5, at least, seems convinced enough of his source.
Ofcourse, if he's wrong, he'll have some serious explaining to do...

Don't particularly like the bandwagon that seems to be forming, though...

vote jonti-h

Oh yay, a bandwagon, wonderful
Considering you were one of the most likely lynchees, had I5 not come up with the scan result I can see why you would think that.

This will sure give us a lot of info

*nods*
As opposed to when we TIEd two villagers the other day, you mean? ;)

If jonti is a baddie, I5 survives the night and the other goodie scanners check him then we might have the beginning of a JL. That could be worth one day of "nothing to analyze", I think.
