And what is Yakman doing?

I declare a WIN!

for CHEESE!

sorry guys.

the wereyaks had achieved a decisive supremacy over the remaining english. but something still stood in their way.

Slinky.

Barely concealing themselves in human form, the WereYaks the_hdk, teep, and XenomorphII v.2 surrounded him. They had tried to kill him the first night, and he had survived. He had murdered when they had failed in the night. He certainly didn't smell like the two wretched Imperialists. Slinky tried to fight, but his impossible strength at night was gone, and the mighty Wereyaks bound him to the killing tree and bayoneted him over and over again.

Raczynski and Kriszo tried to run away from the bloodshed. But the Wereyaks were not alone... two of their own gunned them down as they ran--Jerard and antracer!

It was over. The English company had been massacred to a man. The secret valley of the Wereyak was safe... soon all the world would tremble at their strength!

Slinky, the VAMPIRE, was lynched
Raczynski the ONCE-LUCKY VILLAGER was killed by the RISEN WEREYAK
kriszo, the ONCE-LUCKY VILLAGER was killed by the ASCENDANT WEREYAK

WEREYAK VICTORY

teep, the VILE WEREYAK
the_hdk, the HORRENDOUS WEREYAK
XenomorphII v.2, the MERCILESS WEREYAK
Jerard, the SORCERER
antracer, the APPRENTICE TURNED CULTIST

Congrats to the winners. :)

And I blame johho and vLN for leading the village in the wrong direction by advocating my lynch ;)

And of course : @Yakman : Thanks for GM-ing :)

PS : @Yakman : Can you please describe the vampire role.

Nice work by the wolves. Numerous cases of epic fail by the village, but oh well.

Teep, Xeno, jerard and antracer did a very good job of keeping low. Hdk, not quite as good, but with a village this silly, it wasn't hard. :eek:o

I'm GM'ing next, so I'll leave it for a day so we can discuss this game, then put it up tomorrow evening.

Edit: Oh yeah, thanks to Yakman! Nice GM-ing

We can discuss this anyway, put your game AFAP (I want to know the theme).
And yes, it was a phail by village :/

Why didn't any wolves tell me who was in the pack? I wasted two scans on Jopi and Jerard that were unnecessary. I also would have watched my votes more.

Even when I was getting lynched, I only found out who was in the pack via PM from Teep.

EDIT: still.... GO WOLVES!

It's past midnight here, and I'm too tired to think properly :eek:o
Promise I'll put it up first chance I get tomorrow. It won't be anything fancy, I don't want to give myself too much hassle for my first big game

One thing I will say is that at the end (last 2 days), even though we had PMs going back and fourth saying who to lynch, we still had those who went off and did their own thing in the voting which made it very close, especially second last day. :)

GM NOTES:

1 - I was hoping for bigger things from the Vampire role, but alas, I think that my set up hindered Slinky's chances to make an impact

Vampire: Wins if one of the last three players. Cannot be killed at night. The Vampire can only be detected by the Clairvoyant and the Priest. Sends in a hunt order each night. If the WereYaks fail to successfully hunt, the Vampire hunts instead.

2 - the SoW was too weak, imho. Using it should have protected a character but also killed a wereyak if attacked. i mean, if you get lucky enough to actually time it right...

3 - As for the The Most Dangerous Villager Award, it goes to Ironhead 5. By his own recklessness, he deprived the village of its seer exceptionally early, thus dooming it to leaderlessness and anarchy at the hands of the pitiless wereyaks.

I agree. There was absolutely no point in reveling your scan on a first day. And village without a seer in a big game is a sorry and pathetic mess. That's why I usually have some extra scanning roles in my games.

3 - Really? I think we only 'got' Ironhead because we guessed. He was the first one to vote for Randakar, so we killed him for that.

Edit: on the subject of scanners, what did people think of the way the cultist worked this game? too overpowered? or not powerful enough?

It was clear that the claim was from Ironhead.
A sane seer wouldn't do that in such a situation.
Therefore my conclusion that this was a false claim (and that's something Ironhead has done several times in the past).

It was a pity Ironhead was the seer this time.
But still his action didn't make sense at all.

Absolutely overpowered.
IMO the only big mistake the GM made this game.

And yes, it made it easy for the wolves to win.
Even if they didn't communicate very good with the cultist (according trespoe's comments).

And yes, the certain villagers (Ironhead, johho and vLN) helped the wolfs a lot too. So that makes certain conclusions difficult to make.

Don't forget the Priest and Doctor not bothering to post even one (1) post when in danger of lynch.

I tink that it is okay. The reason for this is that the baddies used to have 2 scanners while they now have 1. The goodies, on the other hand have 2 scanners which means that they have an advantage that offsets that of the baddies once they are in contact.

I think it wouud be better to go back to the old roles for sorc and cultist though, as they have pretty much switched places now.

Congrats to the winners. :)

What johho and I did made perfect sense in light of your actions, which were astoundingly bad for a villager.
To say ex post that we were wrong to pursue you because of hindsight is a prety basic logical fallacy.

Next time you're a villager, try not to obstruct the seer or to do your best to have him lynched ;)
