I agree, let there be a compromise solution. This reflects the logic of the blockade/deblockade, but does not create additional small provinces.
Let it be named Sinyavino because of the countless (6 ?!) battles for Sinyavino heights in 1941-1943.
- Yelnya is famous battlefield and also province-crossroads, must be on the map.
- The Sozh River has been added, which is rather serious obstacle from 40 to 125 meters wide, for the forcing of which fierce battles took place.
I can guess why this river is absent on the vanilla map - it prevents from accurately drawing the borders of Belarus. But since we are making WW2 map, such a serious river is undoubtedly much more important than hypothetical borders of a non-existent state. Therefore, Belorussian lands of the left bank of the Sozh river were annexed by Roslavl and Klintsy provinces.
- New true Bobruisk has become an interesting place that blocks rather wide front, as it is key logistics hub in this very swampy area.
- New true Mogilev has become a place that can be historically surrounded by closing the environment in Krichev province.
- Two cross-blocks in the area of the Pripyat River are also related to the lack of good straight roads (and real troop movements) in this very swampy area.
- Korosten became the border province, the true part of Stalin's line.
- Fixed rude 'Vitebsk-Orsha-Borisov' mistake.
Unfortunately, I was needed to delete Borisov name because it doesn't make sense, it is too close to Minsk and located on the same bank of the river. Although this is very native town for me. Our village is located near Borisov, my grandfather was 11 years old when Germans came there.
It's quite shamefull, but The first and only WW2 Mod with total deep Realism and Historicityin the whole Hoi-2/3/4/5 Universeexists only because the uncle of my granddad was collaborator and he worked for Germans, and therefore he was somehow able to save my 12-years old grandfather from being sent to a "labor camp in Poland" when one day the punishers caught him and threw him into the next consignment to be sent to the West, decided that this boy looked close to a Jew.
Instead of Borisov, it will be Lepel province.
- The Pripyat river has a strange error, but we will not correct it totally carefully, we will make just a rough simple correction.
