I've been dying for a God game. Something similar to Black and White, but on a larger scale.

Also the new civilization game has definitely stirred my interest in a space colony/terraform game.

I have also been playing Battlefleet Gothic recently with friends and I would drop unforeseeable amounts of money on a BFG game for PC.

I think Paradox should produce a Grand Strategy game about the Cold War. Oh, yeah...

Europa Universalis: Byzantium, the utterly adorable 2-D spiritual successor to Impressions' Rise of the Middle Kingdom. Trade! Explore! Place roadblocks! Build hippodromes cathedrals and even the Hagia Sofia (in over 40 missions, brick by brick)! Mine for Porphyry and fight savages from 330 to 1400AD! Chortle at yet another whimsical slightly naughty voiceover of Theodora and have your jaw utterly dropped at the vibrant watercolour artwork of deserty bits of Greece, Africa and Anatolia. Spear-carriers especially welcomed.

Not a bad idea, actually : )

The ultimate dream, for me any ways, would be able to fire up a game of Rome 2, play it through and convert to CK 2, play it through, convert to EU4 and play it through, then convert to Vic 3, then play it through, and then convert to HOI 3 and pause in 1950 to look at the strange map and unfamiliar world that lies before me.

Why not HOI4 conversion?

Something like this?

Perfect ancient world with names.png

I created this map in my free time. And I would love to play as that Athens or Rome.

I've thought it would be cool for them to make a grand-strategy game set in the modern period. But I'm not sure if it would be fun to play a game where two countries (U.S.A. and U.S.S.R.) are dominant for 80% of the timeline. I'm also not sure what features a strategy game set during this period would focus on.

I really like this idea too.
Alpha Centauri turned into Grand Strategy. That would be so cool.

Well well. Seems the Paradox Devs have finally submitted to reason and are gonna make me a space grand strat game.

So, now on to my next want.

Steam punk space grand strat with a Vicky econ and CK character development system.

Where did you get this from?

Vic 2 population system with HOI4 production system is much sexier. I could do without the bloodline character stuff when the game would last an infinite amount of time.

Ok then. Vic pop and econ system, HoI production system and CK bloodline management.

And, you'll regret that dismissal of the bloodline management when you realize... breed for mutations!!!!

Be the first to get the Steam Award for a 2 headed ruler! He's his own adviser!

Read it on the innernet... or saw it in a dream. Either way, it must be true.
Probably the later, but I'm fine with you being a prophet or visioneer for PDS games. :p

they need to revisit the different time period with games they have made before, but with even better engines wich increases graphics and AI a lot, a very bright AI is what missing from their games, and then when this is done, work on the graphics parts, do you know why rome total war 2 sold so much copy even though its a crap game without any realism ? well guess why, people like shiny graphics, its add to immersion a lot.... I dont personally think this is what paradox needs but it would sure makes for very intense games, add the realism depth and scale of paradox game with graphics like rome total war and you get a masterpiece.... so take this in note paradox and dont try to ruin yourself going for crazy or unappealing time frames, they tried with shogun total war, and guess what even though it was their best game to date it sold less copy...

I`d love for paradox to become a huge gaming company who can produces very high quality strategy games in rapid succession
