Yaka also opposed Urrath, opposing Urrath doesn't make you good, it makes you not shadow.
Even the shadow endailon opposes uurath.

And the archons are indirectly responsible for empowering uurath because they imprisoned the endailons and uurath grew in the power vaccum, occupying the shadow endailon's space. In this regard the archons disregarded the maer's/syrons' warning too.

And the archons also imprisoned the krazura, one of their loyal followers, with the endailons. I think the archons are not very good and bright.

On Karissa
"She appears unto men as a scantly dressed, voluptuous woman with flaming red hair"

I have also found this in relation to Fangir that, imo, at the very least point towards the Wizard Kings being able to alter their appearance, and might even say that he was not originally a dwarf:
"he appears among mortals as a Dwarf of desticntion, great strength and a long, flowing beard" <- the key part being "appears among mortals".
I do agree that many WKs disguise or change their form for political or personal reasons
but I don't like this example, 'man of distinction' is a common english phrase, it doesn't imply not being a man. dwarf of distinction isnt saying he appears among mortals as a dwarf, but that he appears among mortals as a rich dude , puts on the dressings and fashion of wealth and power. could he secretly be a goblin who ascended? sure but nothing in that term suggests he's not a dwarf, just that he's a dwarf who dresses fancy

Because he wasnt a full wk yet.

There is a scenario mission where yaka, meandor and Julia duke it out i think. About the secrets inioch stole from yaka. Though, i think its a (semi) official one posted on the forum back then in aow2 times.

It was about wizardtowers making wks immortal.
Interesting, I didn't know that.
Also I didn't know that Yaka predates Inioch or if not predates then at least of the same time, this makes things even more peculiar.

They dont exterminate worlds to settle humans. They did make deals with the elves to restore worlds so they can get recruits from the humans there to protect the cosmos.

The goal is to have free humans, so they have a chance to turn into archons. Doesnt work with a powerhungry elvenking in the picture.
Was he actually power-hungry or just trying to protect his people/preventing them getting the short end of the stick so to say?
I think his actions can be interpreted as not power related or at least not completely power related.

I don't think he actually did (but mb I misremembering), Karissa is the one who can join you in Arcalot if you save her. But that is beside the point, I was implying that you can make even Urrath as a moral ideal from a certain perspective. "All are one in the eyes of Urrath", can Manticore/Lion say the same?

One more thing regarding Archons even in AoW1 there was certain aspect to them that was cult-esk and oppressive.
