Free patch with some missions for the Middle East and a DLC for Meso and South America. Hopefully that would be the end.

Going by Paradox's past comments, two major updates focused on Middle-East and South-Central America seem like the most likely options.

There might also be a chance that after those, the developers might go back and revisit starting nations that were left out from previous region-specific DLCs, and expend their content.

South America/ Middle East.
Rework the Iberian Wedding.
Conquistadors for Castille/Spain as a special unit.
Aventureiros for Portugal as a special unit.
(Limited Numbers obviously)

Order of Christ Nobility Estate for Portugal.

Vasco da Gama event should be looked at. He arrived at Calicut, not Goa.
Goa was Conquered by Afonso Albuquerque in 1510.
Why is it free?

I agree with the concensus that it will be Middle East - America
Then a free patch for the Russian Region
Then some touchups for stray countries like the isles and arkan
Finally something for the end game

I crave a Muslim rework or something.
There are too many good Islamic nations and it just gets monotonous to play.
Maybe make regional Islam work slightly differently?
Asiatic Islam can work differently to middle eastern Islam which can work differently to African Islam?

According to the Twitter poll they did, it'll be the middle east then South America.

If you play eu4 with all dlc how does it not differ in different regions?
because it's still just legalism vs mysticism (legalism pretty much always being better) plus choosing a scholar (AE reduction pretty much always being better) and that's it. Catholics get to use the papacy, which includes controlling the see, treaty of tord, religious war and choose to reform to either protestant, reformed or Anglican
And then every other religion is so small that it's a slight novelty just playing them.
Islam though, is huge covering many different nations and regions meaning you get exposed to them way more often

Ottomans cant convert Christians via propagate faith, will almost always be legalist
Africans can easily convert, will often be mystic
Indians get brahmins, will often be neutral
All Muslims get religious schools, which is like protestsnt church aspects but only up to 2
You won't get exposed to islam more often than others considering where most players start their games

A few more immersion packs

Middle East need another visit with more content
South American needs another visit with more content.
Some major powers need more indepth missions.

after that, I dunno..
