I think 3d models are still ugly but they did improve them since when they were revealed originally. I think the levies system and the transition to professional armies is most worst thing because it is most simplistic in the game, there is no strategy just rush it the tech and building barracks. In reality, levies should function like CK2 and not CK3.

I mean people did WC's in Victoria 2 with GREECE. In a 100 years. Of course somebody will conquer the world in 500 years, or probably 200. They will just spam bailiffs and kill rebels and something. IDK why there is so much hostility around that, though I'd also like it to be very, very hard

The balance against "just rush professional armies" where supposed to be that those are hella expensive.
Problem was probably that money was far to available in the YT build.

If you got to chose between levies and infrastructure or professional armies and minimal infrastructure. Levies will probably be the best option for most nations for a while
