Will we have a release ?

I'm like an observer, and have read many threads about Crusader kings but I'm not sure at all to have, one day, the opportunity to play this game !

Paradox has promised date a release a long time ago and, at this date, we still have no release !

I'm really disappointed, like many other players from a french forum. I find disgusting to let players dream about it when nothing is sure... We have no information ! We don't have access to any screenshots !! and we still waiting...

I think that we are really stupid and look like dogs who are waiting to any sort of food... The Paradox behaviour is really bad, shame on them !

Now, I want to know the really advancement of this game, I want to know if one day... we'll have this game in store !

STOP playing with fans and give news !!

Noone knows, other than the developers. And I'm not sure if they know it very exactly themselves either...

Nevertheless, there is nothing else to do than discussing, dreaming and hoping.

Every thing was dream, just dream and the night has last so long that you were thinking it was reality...

It's not like putting together a since long already developed car.
I can't understand how these threads regularly appears on the forum!
In whose interest is it to announce a game and to start a forum about it and then not to try to release it AS SOON AS IT'S READY?!
Maybe this is a forum created by one of Paradox rivals...

If the release date for CK is prolonged for more work on the project then I am willing to wait. I would rather wait a year for a great game than wait a month to get an unfinished game.

I waited 6 months from the annoucement of the Pax Romana Beta, and my acceptance in it, and it wasn't till December that we got a pre-alpha version. June-December

Waiting is hard I know, but it will be released, so just give the developers time....

With all respect Sergei, I think many people here (probably not all) have no problem waiting for a game - we know it takes time. And yes we do keep asking for a date or other information - no real excuse.

But you've brought some (not all) of the complaints upon yourself by missing so many of your self-imposed timelines. Perhaps you can understand the concern some of us have when we were once told to expect a beta in about September 2002...

Well, Amazon is advertising, and taking pre-orders for this game with a release date of September 2nd. I'm sure they did not take it upon themselves to pick that date.

I don't think it's unreasonable for someone to ask if the game is on schedule, especially as retail outlets are willing to place advance orders already.

Hasn't that date been there for quite some time now? And I think Amazon and other retailers actually do more or less invent dates sometimes.

I've heard that for every complaint about the game being late and for every speculation that the game is canceled, the game's release is pushed back a week.
