on blank events, delete the existing WtWSMS folder from Mods and extract the hotfix download on it's own into mod folder, not atop an existing version, that worked for me

edit: when you start the game the screen might be just black like as if the game wasn't loading at all, however, it does load after some time and go to the menu screen

I am also experiencing a 100% crash rate on startup using the Github version, in addition to the thread version.

How do I clear my cache?

Did you by any chance forget to delete the license md folder from Github? Try deleting both of those and move the WTWSMS.mod file out of the WTWSMS folder and into/mod folder.

I don't know what you mean by clearing the cache? Verify integrity of game files and the WTWSMS folder in /crusaderkings2 that contains screenshots and gfx. If that doesn't work try a clean reinstall of WTWSMS and then ck2 entirely. I don't know what else can help...

The Roman Empires have low crown authority and that known of them can have viceroyalty laws.

The mod wasn't really updated to CM and WOL due to huge issues in getting compatibility both times. Enlil had gotten it ready just yesterday and even now there's still a ton of bugs. As such, no foci and neglected vice royalties so far.

One thing I've noticed: The castle in the county of Rhid, Great Swarti is broken. Relatedly, not to be too insulting, but the vitally reworked North Africa has mostly identical colours. Makes telling things apart a bit more tricky. Same with the COAS in Arabia. Also, Bahrain in connected by strait to Dhu Zhabi.

I believe that Migrations need to be adjusted as I shouldn't get 2.3 million men to migrate into Egypt as Frisia owning half of the Empire of Germania... 2.3 million men is like half the population of the world at this time*...

*Note I may be exaggerating just a little, but still

This is a known balance issue since the last beta when we got so Heruli with 1,000,000 troops... Ideally, the number should be based off of provinces with ones own culture as the men need to come from somewhere. We've been discussing needs for sometime now too.

Edit: forgot to mention that I think we may limit it so you'll have to also disband event troops from previous invasions to prevent the snowballing effect of multiple migrations on army size.

It seems to be related to realm size; the larger the realm, the more troops you have. As Alemanni I get 60k for a migration. The good thing is that each migration can happen once per ruler, including migrations failed from invalidated casus belli. Interestingly, although the Alemanni can pull 60k, the Huns can only pull about 1k.

It also seems that one can easily avoid getting migrated into by...traveling the realm.

I have to say that the Migration CB is extremely overpowered from what I've seen. The ERE is overrun many times even at the beginning of the game.

The biggest problem is that the event troops are not only too strong, but also scale to get even bigger with realm size. I've seen the Gepids and Slavs both carve the Eastern Empire with 40k troops each. Definitely WIP

Crashes on Linux on startup. I'm guessing due to a capitalization issue. I'm probably wrong, but it's where to start, I guess. If so, it may also be the Mac problem, assuming they're also case sensitive. It crashes before even generating any logs.

The newest version fixed this https://github.com/rickinator9/WTWSMS

Is it possible to make the Zoroastrian High Priest Pre-instated and the Immortals pre-made? They are made as soon as the game starts when they should have already been made at this point in history.

It's handled by the integrated Zoroastrian mod--we have nothing to do with the events.

The events aren't bugged, per se. I couldn't decide whether to put this as a bug or suggestion. The events from the integrated mod were made for the Zoroastrians vanilla situation which has the Immortals destroyed and the Zoroastrian Priesthood destroyed. I was saying that it should be adjusted to where they've already been created at the start of the bookmark rather than the AI taking a decision to restore the Immortals and the Zoroastrian priesthood which had supposedly been destroyed by nonexistent Muslims before the game. Also, the Priesthood decision is vanilla. Currently, the AI is losing money and gaining prestige for decisions which don't fit this era and the first Persian Emperor of the game at the start is crowned the Saoshyant for saving the Empire from Muslims who haven't even spawned in the game.
