Great mod! Thanks a lot for it.
Would be nice if you could make the UI a bit more in-line with the game's design. Other than that I didn't notice any issues with it, it worked perfect.
Agreed, A more integrated UI look would be nice and the icon doesn't really match the game design. I wonder if it could it be added to the toolbox dropdown menu that Legacy Flavour is using?

I'm also getting a problem with the zoning toolkit - it basically shows up when opening a save but I think it is conflicting with the 'preserve photo mode' mod as when you click into photo mode, the toolkit button dissapears

This is a no brainer of a mod and I think a potentially great addition would be to add the capacity to add zoning to the footpaths in the landscaping tab. I think combining this with alleys could allow for really interesting tightly spaced communities. It's great that pedestrian roads are in the base game this time around but they are huge and not very practical in smaller cities in my opinion.

Hi ... It doesn´t show up. Only one time and never more.
I've just experienced this too, although I had it for two or three days from installation, and it's only today (the 10th) that it's not displayed on-screen in the upper-left corner of a running game. It's still in the list of mods and marked as enabled, though.

This mod adds a "Mod Settings Sample" section to the game's options menu. That should really be removed, especially if there will be no options in this mod. Furthermore, it would be really helpful to make the code open-source through somewhere like GitHub so it can be independently reviewed.

I still don't understand if update existing road zoning, which one is left or right... T.T
There isn't a real left or right, because the road orientation is based in the direction that it was placed. So left will work well in some roads, but in others, it would change the "right" side of the road. This problem also occurred in CS1 in game built tool.

I'm running into an issue with this mod after the latests CS2 patch, when I have the 529 tiles mod enabled in combination with this mod. When I activate the option to change the zoning on my roads, all zoning is been removed when I hover over the roads with my mousecursos. It can't be restored. If I disable the 529 tiles mod or ZoningToolkit mod everything works fine. But having them both enabled causes problems.

I'd be extremely grateful, if you could add an option to force both sides to have zoning. I'm trying to make a very compact Japanese style grid, and I'd need all sides to be zoneable. Is that possible?

A forced zoning button is very necessary, even if there is a built building. This is required in cases where you need to place something service linked to the grid and then return the zoning back.

Only way I can get this mod to load is if I Launch on main menu, Disable preset, active preset. Quit game and relaunch. Its the only mod that load weird in my preset. I still love this mod tho.

i found the issue. The mod conflicts with PRESERVE PHOTOMODE. When launching your game, if your first action is opening preserve photomode. The mod icon in the top right hand corner will disappear once you exit preserve photomode.

Spacemouse - I was having the same issue. It appears that the issue is due to a problem where Zoning Toolkit will remove the zoning whenever the mouse hits a road that is an unpurchased tile. I use 529 tiles, but still like to purchase tiles. Something in a recent update caused my purchased tiles to be cleared - so I was very quickly removing all of my zoning when I tried to make a change. Everything works properly after I repurchased the tiles.
