First! Also, amazing work, thank you guys so much for this bookmark, looks like the most interesting one yet. Can't believe I have been playing this game for 7 years and it still keeps getting better. Please do not stop supporting it anytime soon.

Given that the rulers of Arles, Bohemia and Bulgaria all have bloodlines, how many new historical bloodlines do you estimate you’ve added in this patch?

I don't know if the colouring is historical (the only colouring I've personally found with a quick search is that for k_bulgaria), but the Bulgarian Empire's CoA looks very much like a temporary revolter title due to the colours chosen. If there's no historical basis for it, I'd argue for replacing it (e.g. with the Balgarsko dynasty's CoA), to avoid confusion at a quick glance.

Also, speaking of stuff near the ERE, do they still have Serbia, Croatia, and Sicily as part of their de jure? They tend to be rather too eager to reconquer those (particularly late in the era; at least they've got the excuse of having a presence there in bookmarks pre-Stamford Bridge), in my experience, so perhaps putting the former two in Carpathia (or a new Dalmatia/Illyria) and the last one in Italia might be sensible, much like how Venice was moved to Italia to keep it safe.

Is there a way to make Bulgaria lose empire rank without conquering it whole as an outside ruler?

@Snow Crystal An off-topic question here, but with the new update will you add an event that simulates the fall of the Knights Templar involving the King of France & the rest of Europe? As currently if you play in a late enough bookmark the Holy Order is gone but if you play in an earlier one they're there & won't disappear ever.

No plans to add the fall of the Knights Templar at the moment. It came up as a discussion throughout Holy Fury, but we ended up not doing anything with it.

Cool. Bulgaria as a de jure empire is quite interesting. Can you give us a date for when we get to play this baby? Or at the very least a month?

Hungary & Croatia.

I don´t quite understand the reasoning behind this. It drastically reduces the potential for conflicts between BYZ and BUL, only a few counties in the southwest and a county in Thrace are disputed then. How does it make the iron century more "realistic" when Bulgarians and Byzantines are, more or less, just "friendly neighbours"?

They very literally were "friendly neighbours" for the next 30 years or so, after our start date. Bulgaria has a whole lot of barony holdings in Thracian lands though, so I am sure they'll find reasons to start wars with one another.

Bulgaria would have to take either Serbia or Hungary before the status of Croatia ever becomes an issue. I think Croatia is being moved to Carpathia mostly because Croatia and Hungary became united early in the 12 century.

When someone dies in your dungeon & have no living relatives, you should get their gold. It's only realistic. Also, you should get their artifacts. At the very least their should be a mechanic as to how to the odds are of you catching them with their riches on them & how much riches they would have based off opponents (Intrigue*2*martial*1.25) + greed (if greedy =+25/ your (intrigue*3*martial*1.5) or something formula so its more likely that you catch them with more money when they are greedy.
