Hi folks!

Tomorrow is the release day for Monks and Mystics and, of course, the 2.7 patch - exciting times! Now, we've already covered the new features pretty well, so... how about a Q&A? Unleash your questions about everything CK!

(Oh, and don't miss the livestreams later today, 16:00 CET as usual!)

Hi, PDS. I want to pre-congratulate you on the release of your expansion. Good job!

I really love the idea of secret underground religions and conspiring to do a take over from the shadows. Any chance that this feature could be extended to demonic cults, as well? Like, the plaguebringers control enough of the realm to come out of the closet and just switch to a demonic religion. Not everyone would like this, but that's what game rules are for, yeah?

I've been asking a lot but no one has replied me yet:

Will the new societies/orders build castles or holdings all over the place, Hassanssins-style?

If I set supernatural settings off, will I still get the benefits of joining societies/orders/cults?

1) Can characters reveal they are part of a secret society?

2) If you try to bring others into the society and they refuse, can they tell on you or extort you over it? (Same could be applied to characters that are homosexual, have a lover, or have a hidden religion)

My serious question: Given that CK2 is nearing its end, is the development team trying, or wanting to try, more experimental ideas and gameplay? Personally, I hope so! I'd love for you guys to try out some ideas in CK2, get a good grasp of them, and then roll them over into CK3.

Less serious question: Paradox owns the Vampire: The Masquerade licence, so is there any desire to convert their medieval RPG, Vampire: The Dark Ages, into the CK franchise? Because I will personally give you my soul if that happens.

Is there the possibility that you will keep on producing Graphical DLC even once you're done with gameplay expansions?

In all honesty, I'd gladly keep on buying it.

Can you be part of multiple societies at once?

For example, if you are part of the secret society of Shia muslims under a Sunni ruler, can you join both the Assassins and the Crypto-Shias?

First of all, thank you for doing this Q&A :)

How does succession work in Secret Societies and Cults ?

If I'm secretly a Slavic Pagan while professing a Catholic faith and I die, will my heir be a secret Slavic pagan as well ? What's going to be his rank in the order ?

I personally have ideas for that, but nothing's been decided yet.

Can you please make more information about combat tactics and their requirements/modifiers etc. easily accessible through the interface? Right now, you have to look up all the information in the wiki or open the txt files. Something like a "show possible tactics involving this troop type and what their requirements and effects are" button would be a great.

Not really. I am very attached to the core concept of playing a bloodline rather than a country as such. However, inland Republics could in theory be made playable like we did with our Merchant Republics.
Any chance you might just do us a favour and make them playable, and open up the horde population mechanics too while your at it? :D

Seems like the Q&A has ended for today? I was wondering about Artifacts and raiding, I think raiding is a core gameplay for the Germanic Norse, will they get a greater chance or event to steal a relic/artifact from the county/character they are raiding from compared to other cultures and religions?

Q1 Can we "wear" Crown Jewels that are in our inventory? In other words, if we have the bling appear physically on our character?

Q2 Will we ever be able to change the clothing on our character in game. I would like to be able to do so as easily as getting a haircut in game.
