Guess might as well start this one, for all the things that should make it into 1.1 =)

Note that the expanded graphics is incredible and I'm definitely not here to catalog all the bugs, just the ones I run across. Hopefully other people start helping once they play their first round :p I'm definitely not complaining so far; definitely worth the wait.

Visual Bugs:
x At extremely high resolutions (1920x1200) the "loading settings / cvars / etc." words are cut-off in the initial load. 1680x1050 does not appear to have this issue, nor does 1920x1080
x Same issue upon loading the scenario, same as above.
x At high resolutions, the screen flashes a bunch at random, usually right after clicking something. It does less so at 1680 x 1050 than 1900x1200, and is worst at "loading scenario"

Game Bugs:
x (By design?) America can become fascist / socialist really fast by changing national ideals over and over... :p

Settings launcher
im assuming that the resolution settings in there but when i try and launch it it says launch from the AOD folder. I tried doing so but same message. Idk not a big deal. Seems great guys im really really impressed.
Is not replicated by myself, no issues here.

x Upon selection of tech and starting of tech w/ tech team, list of teams resets to the top (not game-breaking)

---
To show you guys that I'm not all negative here, I'll also include some (personal) Plusses that I really enjoy, even if they're small :)
Awesome fixes from HOI2:DD/ARMA:
x Music volume much more controllable than before.
x Native "sliders can be changed" icon
x Native "Open tech slot" icon
x Amazing detail into the tool tips on the top bar, nice to see where everything goes.
x Amazing statistics, and its amusing to see estonia on the efficiency pie charts at the beginning. Makes me want to to an Estonia AAR.

I can't post attachments here, so here [http://www.filefront.com/15674521/HHFranceCTD.zip] is a zip file with two saved games, one right after the Spanish Civil War starts, one 3 days or so before the crash.

I tried both of those files and couldn't get the game to crash on either one. You will get your tech slot back when you reduce your dissent enough to get back 100 IC. Just use the file that gets you passed the ctd.

bug: Brazil as left wing radical :(
Same as in HOI2. Why Vargas is listed as a "left-wing radical" I have no clue, since just about everyone today views him as opportunist at best, and most generally lean towards him being a quasi or semi-fascist. Leftists at the time considered him a fascist.

It's the same thing in HoI2, you must break the pact in order to attack.
I'm playing as South Africa in 1939 and am at war with Portugal (to grab its colonies), but I cannot attack either. I do not have a non-aggression pact with them. I have a save file.

Also upon exiting the game (aka the exe) I was treated to a black screen and was forced to reboot.

I use Windows 7, and can give more stats if necessary.

Post the save game file and I will look at it.

You only have one infantry division and it is grouped with a garrison division. Garrison divisions can not attack in AoD and they can only move by strategic redeployment. Detach your infantry division and it moves into Portuguese territory just fine.
D'oh.

In the 1st Arab-Israel war scenario the description is wrong for the Israel Total Defeat, as it says that Jordan must secede Jerusalem to Israel and promise never to again attack israel in any form.

btw: first post

Here's an odd one:

1936 Scenario

As Japan I puppet Communist China for no good reason (well it was easier than annexing them at the time) and several years later when the Nat China event fires to surrender to Japan and I choose either the Carve up China or the Total Annexation, then the entirety of China goes to Communist China instead of me.

Perhaps it is because they have cores.

Now come to think of it... It was absurd of me to puppet Communist China (it feels weird seeing their Communist China name with government type of fascist) but if they are a puppet of Japan and the Japan event fires, then they should not get dibs first.

Also... In this game Germany did not annex Austria but it did annex Czechoslovakia. I was going to restart anyways at this point since things have gone wonkers.

And this time I won't puppet ComChi.

bug...maybe?

Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just dumb. In the diplomacy screen I have a hard time doing anything. It says a diplomat is in route ETA dd/mm/yyyy. As soon as that date comes around, it flashes for a split second and then says a diplomat is in route with a later date. This continues on and on and I can't click on an action.

Quite frustrating, because occasionally it will be valid long enough for me to do something.

Thanks,
IanTorlan

Do you have auto trade on? If so it is likely using your diplomat to make a trade deal with them, try turning it off and see if thats the problem ;0).

china makes too much money,i currently have about 6000 in cash after only a year of playing (currently in 1939 started in 1938) and i dont need to spend anything on consumer goods to have a positive cash flow because of all the manpower i have, i'm pretty sure this is not WAD, hope you can fix it in the next patch.

also the japanese AI seems to be suffering from severe resource shortages.

In Battle Scenarios (the new ones) you can still build province improvements in occupied but unowned provinces.

Also sometimes your troops will retreat and never stop thinking they are retreating if you do an ambitious landing with them. (might just be in mp without host)

Soviet: Event Great Purge works incorrectly:

Code:
	command = { type = sleepteam which = 3706 } #Tukhachevsky
	command = { type = sleepteam which = 3716 } #Alksnis

I looked into teams_sov.csv, Alksnis - 3713, Tukhachevsky - 3718.

Game is slow for me (low core2duo), saving process in 1938 got 3+ minutes.
