I noticed that with production AI turned on, I cannot get the AI not to produce great qunatities of surpluss supplies? I'm at peace, need some 1.19 for my troops and produce a net amount of 12.92. The extra IC the AI puts there could have been used elsewhere.

Propably because you are very low on supplies - base objective for production AI is to have at least 7 days stock of total supplies usage (high priority) and then use ~10% extra to get to 30 days of supplies - the proposed safety stock ( running with just one to two days of supply stock will make it hard to prevent small surges / days with much combat from emtying you stock )

In three handsoff games, Germany has been overrun by the USA in Europe. While historical, I think some tweaking should be done. Germany should keep some defense too.

I'm playing as Canada. I still only have the starting 1 Inf, the 6 transport and one destroyer. Supply stock is 20k, enough for the rest of the century.
Consuption is 1.46, net production is still 14.7
When I manually set it to 0 supply production, the slider is at 0, but it writes 3.84 IC is devoted to it.

Also I try to put some into repairing provinces, but it keeps getting back to very low level.

Also Japan nicely gobled up Manchuko, and were at a stellmate with NatChi. Then it DoW-ed SU, which is no gobbling it up. Should not JAP avoid such two front war? The DoW was around middle 1939.

Do you have any other needs that need filling?
If it has no other things to spend it on (upgrades / reinforcement or ptoduction) it will use surplus IC to stock up supplies.

Try making screenshot of what you are trying to do (sliders)
And also attack a savegame

Sav game is here

I set upgrades as priority. Supply still has way too much surplus assigned to it. sliders at upgrades won't budge.

If I’m not mistaken, you have the minimum supplies marker (small green triangle on the supplies line) set at 4.80 – so you are telling the AI to never build less than 4.80 supplies per day. Try dragging the green triangle all the way to the left (0) and see what it does.

Correct and the red one is maximum - so you are rpevemting AI to invest in upgrades even if it wants to. (as red is set to 0 IC)

If I set the advanced controls to their right position, they revert to what you see on the screenshot at 0:00 the latest.

Even when manual control is given, supplies tend to be assigned IC, even thought the slider is at 0. Upgrades, reinforcement and repair provinces always revert to close to 0 investment (bad for me at the momemnt).

Loaded up a new game with Canada. Same happens.
A new load with Poland, and while supply here can be put to zero, upgrades cannot.
Somehow the sliders act very strangely.

Unresponsive slider issue has been found and fixed - man that was a tricky one.
It depended on machine and compiler.

Well its out now, and i think we are ready to ship the new B3 as official.
Agreed? :D
