This is one of the few Paradox grand strategy games where "world conquest" is the explicit goal. Such dramatic expansion seems strange to me after playing so much EU3 and Vic2, but I think I could get used to it!

I don't envy those fellas between Yamana and Uesugi.

so whole japan cares only about yamana... looks like there is a problem with AI.. it will be easy to unite japan it seems.

also why does it say [ Clan Date ] in the tool tip?? wouldn't [ Date Clan ] be more appropriate?

The AI is worried most about the Clan that closest (by some margin) to uniting Japan. This isn't a problem trust me.

After Date, consolidation. Then if nothing continues to happen go for Ashina!! :)

The ideal time to attack Date would be when Uesugi is fighting some minor war down south that you know they will win easily, but won't be too eager to open a second front of war

Can you make a plot to attack the Toki or Imagawa and invite the Uesugi.
Then a plot to attack the Uesugi and invite the Imagawa / Toki (whoever is not the target of the first plot).
Then start plot 1 and when the Uesugi are at war you backstab them and start plot 2?

I can only have one plot at a time and the declaration of war costs me up to 20 honour ad inviting backers costs me honour as well so it is expensive business. That aöö assuming that the Uesugi would like me enough to try this plot. That is not a given either.

TAKE THEM ON AT THE SAME TIME!!! But in all seriousness, very nice AAR. It makes me sad that you seem to skip all of the wars:sad: But all of the great screenshots, and interesting plotting is really fun. I would suggest though, that you continue to consolidate Northern Japan. The Uesugi may be in a weak position, but I have a feeling that the AI will find a way into an even deeper hole, and if you continue to become stronger, you should, sooner or later be strong enough to take them on at another time.

be as swift as wind, and backstab uesugi. although they look really strong, but frontline is narrow.. so it might work. also how is takeda doing in the middle of that chaos?

Attacking Uesugi is risky, but if you have to go down better go down with style. And if you win you have no rivals in Eastern Japan. So I say: ATTACK!!!!
