I'd ask if it was just an issue with BLL, but apparently it's PI's marketing directing the blackout, so I don't know what to say. Why the special treatment if what you say is true?

TBH, i don´t have a clue. I´m as suprised as you are (and i´m that way since atleast 6 months). I was expecting PI´s usual policy of as much information as possible. Maybe teasing us sometimes, but always giving us information

Also during the steam one of them said that they have DDs lined up for release...

Hmm, i almost forgot that. And this was now more then 3 months ago...

The devs are devs for this game and not modders. You can release any info for your mod, but we devs signed NDA, and whatever we can say is tightly controlled.

Relax, the game is in beta, so we are on schedule.

Yes, there are DDs lined up. And they will be released exactly the time they will be released.

yes you are developers, but many of you developers have had modding experience with various games.
we are not worried that the game won't be finished.
what annoys me is the lack of (public known) scheduling.

Thank you. Even small tidbits of information like this help alleviate our anxiety :).

Some seem a bit worried in the EvW forum... that said, I agree that the annoyance is a press blackout for no apparent reasoning (aside from magical marketing auspices and avoiding angering the God(s) by not releasing on Its birthday and waiting until the crescent moon is in the third quadrant of the southwestern hemisphere behind Aries on the third Thursday of February before releasing any more info).

Don't get me wrong, given what limited info I have, I'm placing about 0% of the fault on the devs here (though who knows, marketing could be covering for them after all, but let's not get n-dimensional and just stick to the fun old pastime of hating marketing departments).

We are mostly modders, true. I just wanted to say, that now we have to abide to different rules, namely our NDA. We cannot just release information on our own, no matter how much we want to.
