It definitely is. I kinda spent the first few hours/days just staring at it, trying to take it all in. Once you get the feel for it, though, the previous one looks... incomplete.

Just out of curiosity, how accurate is the Tibetan setup for the 4th century BC onwards?

AFAIK, fairly accurate. Tibet isn't exactly a hot topic on the web, but based on this and this, it seems that at least Kashmir, Marul, and Tibet are relatively-correct. The Tuyuhunids are a group of Xianbei that entered the region around the 6th or 7th century. The Yarlungs are a dynasty that is related to the ruling dynasty of Tibet, but if I'm not mistaken there was a civil war and one of the family members had to move down south. The Zhang Zhung are actually pretty old; there's been some association with them and an Iron Age civilization found in Tibet, but they rebelled against the empire in 677 CE IRL, so my assumption is that they're still there.

The Lu dynasty's and Leh's set up are pure fiction. The others do belong there, but part of the reason they're still there is because not many people in Tibet really came in to kick them out, and because the empire needs dissenters and competitors :3

As far as from 4th Century BCE and on, I actually tried to steer away from anything that happened before 323 BCE (IIRC, that's the date Shay begins everything in the timeline), and anything that happened too long ago to have a significant impact in 1066 may have been omitted or passed over, assuming that the rest of the events happened relatively similar (if not the same) as in IRL.

I was referring to the province holdings/settlements.

The King of Makuria has no counties - he's perpetually in "an unknown location"

Ah, merde. Some provinces got moved around, some got added, and some got deleted. Perhaps I accidentally deleted his capital holding. This can just be fixed by moving him to a holding that does exist in game.

I was referring to the province holdings/settlements.

Oh. Not really, no. I had to add a lot of provinces up there, and that required researching holdings I would be changing eventually anyway and I just got lazy for the time being. They'll be corrected eventually.

The map could use a major nudge pass. Noticing some units that appear in the wrong territories. Playing in Antioch right now.

That is definitely a possibility, but I ran it through Nudge at least twice and I thought I was pretty thorough. Are you sure there's no file incompatibility?

It is really only particularly bad in Laodicean Phoenicia with the combat units; they are slightly too northeast in Tripolitania as well, which is particularly noticeable with the cavalry.

Question, holy sites haven't been added yet, right? Because either that or I am doing something wrong and the game crashes :3

Other than that though, it seems surprisingly stable! And fun!

Oh yeah, Confucianism, when having a feast doesn't have a god name.

Is it WAD that the the Alexander descendant count of Alexandria is vassal of an Hellen duke of Alexandria ( don't remember him in the previous version )

Holy Sites haven't been added yet. That part is going to require more work on Numahr's and my part.

Out of curiosity - what is the deal with this strange religion in Komiland? There isn't any description of it in game or in this thread, and I'm very interested in details of that faith.

Thanks for reply.

Sort of a creation of Darkgamma's. I was hoping he'd be on to give more information about it, but it seems he's not here ATM.

Darkgamma had a submod for Lux a while back called Nox Dira, which basically added a special title in Scandinavia where you could sort of play as an anti-solar Norse religion, where your character was called Pater Noctis (Nightfather) or Mater Mortis (Deathmother) and there were a lot of unbalanced bonuses. It was removed during an update and Shay disappeared before it could get put back, so I put it back with some changes. No more overpowered bonuses (there's still a small, relatively balanced bonus that works like a blood trait), and no empire level title, but basically the same concept.

Njóla is the worship of Nott, the Norse goddess of night. The duke of Komiland (that fellow Ragnarr) is seen as Nott's agent on Earth, Pater Noctis. This is passed down to their children, but is removed if any would ever forsake their faith in Nott. At least, until we come up with a better system

Just a thought: this trait sounds like it would work better than "blood of Almaqah" for the Almaqahi. It would also work for the 15-ish realms in East Africa that claim descendance from their patron gods, the Apollonios dynasty in Rhodos (claim Apollo is their ancestor), and some others that I'm probably forgetting.

'Twas kinda the idea; I'm hoping eventually we can all merge those claim traits over.
