Oh, that might be it. Just switched to Scholarship a couple years ago and took the Necronomicon path, and my few vassals and courtiers all love me, so it's unlikely they want to kill her, especially since we're under elective, so she isn't blocking anybody's way to the throne.

I knew about paranoia resulting in characters thinking their children aren't theirs, but didn't know abut this. Thanks for the info. :)

Yeah its kinda annoying when you have paranoid trait especially as a Muslim, when you have 4 wives and about 20 childrens and you're suspecting that it was not your child everytime 1 of your wives were pregnant and practically rotating all your family members to hiding spot in Cairo, its kinda exhausting, that you wish you were celibate and can join the Hashashin or Bektashi Order.

That way your job is only 1. Go to field, shout Allahu'Akbar and hope for the best :D

This is the annotated history of East Iceland, its recent rulers, their culture and religion.
history of iceland.jpg

Abbasids conquered Norway in a Jihad and it didn't take long for Alim to go native in culture, but stick to his religion. It's the same guy that gets conquered by the Aztecs and the really strange guy would be Erling, who adapts the religion of his overlords, Aztec paganism, but stays Norwegian. The next ruler, Olav, converts to Catholicism when the Aztec emperor does and becomes part of a breakaway Nahua-ruled duchy in Norway when the Aztec empire breaks up not much later. Then Håkon goes even further native and adapts the culture of his liege.
That is how you end up with Nahua Catholic Abbasids in Iceland.

This is my current game of "play about 50 years as some country and switch". I've only played one Germanic nation in the game (Svipjod->Scandinavia), but for some reason after that the Germanics initiated their secret plan to make me gouge my eyes out with bordergore. The major Germanic nations are Britannia, Scandinavia, Russia and Gardariki.

The Knights Hospitaller led by a Karling won a crusade against Germanic Greece. Later on they won another crusade against Germanic Aquitaine. They then changed their main title to the kingdom of Aquitaine.

The Germanics are a righteous pain in this game and to make it worst they're united under one dynasty. I took control of Aquitaine after that as the Christians were (and still are) the underdogs. It helped that for some reason Aquitaine had 220,000 gold, so I just went on a holy rampage liberating Italy, Sicily, the Balkans and more. It was quite the power trip.

Austisland must be the greatest melting pot of the world. The biggest insult is that they're still Abbasids...

A Patrician in Visby now has two Patrician houses in his demesne.

The impossible happens. A Muslim woman inherits Perm from her father who is also Sunni. Her being weak is an added bonus.

I gotta ask, what is that pretty map mod you are using?
I think it's "In heavens Cartographic Map'', one of the most popular mods on Steam.
